Close to the beach, close to the movie theater, staff is super friendly! Very comfortable..

I was expected the breakfast to be included and it wasn’t for I don’t know what reason when I made reservation through bookings.com it said breakfast included and trust me I usually check for those everywhere I stay..

Nice facility until checkout.

The Plastic cover on the safe fell off when it was opened. The Safe seemed to be working otherwise, so I didn’t think much about it. At checkout, hotel staff wouldn’t let us leave until room was inspected. The luggage was already loaded in the taxi so we were forced to wait in the heat with a baby. I don’t feel it should be common policy to make hotel guests wait 30 + minutes in the heat when checking out of the hotel. They then Charged us 300 pesos for the plastic cover that was loose already and fell off when the safe was opened. What a rip off! We visit Huatulco every year, and have always stayed at hotel Quinta Bella. We thought we’d try the holiday inn for a change. It was a mistake. We’ll be sure to stay elsewhere next time.

The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed. The hotel seemed to be in good shape. The pool is nice and convenient to the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were able to park the rental car for free. The hotel is very close to the bay in Santa Cruz, which is nice.

The communication before check in was weird. Every question I asked got the same answer, which was basically telling me that under no circumstances could I check in before 3, and that checkins after 6 would cause my credit card to be charged. I got multiple messages about this, to the point where I was feeling that the hotel management is not friendly. The restaurant staff did not inform us for 15 minutes that the breakfast needed to be inside at the restaurant, and not at the table in front of the pool where we went for breakfast. It just felt like communication isn't good.

Breakfast was ok but pricy for buffet.

The staff were friendly and mostly attentive but once they server you they seemed to forget you existed. Even to get the check seemed like a chore. The menu was limited and after 2 meals in the restaurant we were looking for somewhere else to eat.

Voucher system that allows double dipping. It's best to pay for each meal at the time of service instead of openning a voucher and signing after each meal.

I did request and pay for a room with a mariners view but did not receive that. Make sure you book a room with a fridge.
