Cosy apartment with pellet burner, comfortable bathroom, great bed! Location is perfect for exploring Breda and surroundings. Very attentive host!

The property was very clean and fully equipped for a pleasant stay. The host was very amiable.

Lovely modern comfortable large space with all facilities needed and courtyard to the front with seating area. Parking is available just up the road. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. There is a bus route on the main road less than 5 minutes away which goes into the centre of Breda. We would definitely return and use the bikes to do the route to Belgium along the river which they recommended.

Location is not super easy to reach by car, but it's a very nice location once you're there, and there's enough parking space. Super nice bathroom, comfortable bedding, ample linnen and bathrobes to go round. Place has loads of reading material and games, including games for the younger ones. The wood burner adds a nice and cozy atmosphere, both in the evening and early morning.
Upper floor is a bit squeaky, but you might account this to atmosphere. Kitchen needs an update, especially the electric hob, though this wasn't a big issue for me personally. That's about it. It's probably best to visit with a group of people because then price-per-person reduces drastically.

Nicely decorated comfy house in a quiet area. A huge super vegan breakfast. And the host offered to drop me by the station!!!
Cottage Markdal is a great excuse to come to Breda.

location, freshness , availability of bikes, very accommodating hosts, international plugs, good kitchen& equipment, enough (good) beds.
not much we didn’t like. perhaps a tip to create more space by not having so many cabinets with books, cd’s and other leisure stuff which might not be used by guests. But this is obviously personal taste.

This is a fantastic little cottage and is extrmely comfortable with excellent facilities including free bike hire.
I can not rate the owner, location and the facilities high enough.
It is so good I would rate it 11 out of 10.

The hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was great. The little cottage comfortable. The place is right next to a great area to walk the dog. They had many bikes available, and parking abotu 50 meters walk away.
