Me and my friend had an incredible time at Mauritius. The welcoming atmosphere provided by Vincent and his family at Villa Alexis rounded up the superb experience. As soon as I booked the apartment via Booking.com, Vincent contacted me via Whatsapp to send me very useful information regarding excursions, supermarket, banks, diving centers, etc,... in the surroundings. Just upon arrival we were upgraded to a bigger apartment with two bathrooms, which was quite a plus for two ladies ;-), and a huge terrace, where we had breakfast every morning. During our stay my friend had unfortunately an encounter with a sea urchin and Vincent did not hesitate and took us in his car to the nearest hospital. One evening we were even invited by Vincent's mother to have dinner with them. This way we had also the chance to taste food cooked the local way! Villa Alexis is very well located only 5 minutes walk to the long and extraordinarily beautiful beach of Trou-aux-Biches and even nearer to the supermarket Chez Popo, where you can find all the groceries you need. Thanks to Vincent and his famliy for making our experience unforgettable.

The host lady was very friendly and even cooked us a traditional Mauritian dinner once!

The location was good in the sense of being very near to the beach and the supermarket, but the neighboring pieces of land were unkempt

Great place with public beach and supermarket nearby. Everything was so close that I still cannot believe how lucky we were to find this place. Thanks for having us there.
