It was perfect for our family getaway. Everything we needed was available plus more. The property owner was very nice and communicated back quickly when we had questions. I highly recommend this property. We may look into staying for a week in the summer so we can enjoy the lake.

When we arrived the home appeared very nice just like it appeared in the pictures. The bathrooms & kitchen were clean but the floors throughout the house were dusty and look like they needed a good sweep and mop. The bottom level had a musty odor that we got used to after a day or two. The main floor was fine except for the bathroom which had the weirdest odor that would not go away despite our own cleaning and air freshener. The top floor was very nice except for the sloped floors which we did get used to. The neighborhood was very nice and just what we were hoping for. The lake is a few blocks away and requires driving because public access to the lake is limited to a small beach area. Our family used the hot tub at least 2x daily and we loved it! Communication with the owner was easy! Overall a great house with a lot of sleeping space!

Very good communication,any problems I had,just called and got replies rite away, alittle disappointed with cleanliness, especially with covid,but cleaned ourselves,loved the house, plenty of room for all my grandchildren,close to lake,very nice vacation!

Awesome place. Exactly as described. Kids and Grandchildren had the best time and lots of laughs. Hot tub was a hit. We hung out downstairs in the game room and played pool and alot of cards. Communication with the owner was top notch. He was easy to get a hold of and was great to deal with. Highly recommend!

this house was perfect for my family of 14 to get away and enjoy the Poconos! The house was clean, well equipped and well cared for. The kitchen had everything we needed and the second fridge in the game room was a plus. The game room was the perfect hang out for the kids to play pool, video games or just watch a movie. The owner was extremely responsive from the moment I inquired about the booking. The house it very close to the mountain and the other amenities that split rock has to offer. Thanks Mike and we are already working on returning next year!

A nice large house - worked well for our large extended family of 14. Some nice updates - each room had its own heating / AC unit so everyone could control their own temp. WiFi and cable TVs with DVD player and pool table kept everyone occupied when the weather didn’t cooperate for multiple days in a row. 2 refrigerators was also a plus! My only cons were that upon arrival the place really wasn’t that clean - the cleaning crew did the bare minimum job at best - and the dishwasher really doesn’t actually wash the dishes so you need to re-wash them all again. This may have to do with the lack of water pressure in the house (there is none - women with long thick hair like me - take note - washing & conditioning your hair is an impossible task!) And if you’re expecting a HOT tub, Nope! It’s a WARM tub. Not quite what you’re hoping for after a long day of skiing to relax those muscles. The kids liked it though - it definitely was a good temp for them to splash around in. Overall, it was about being with family and we had a good time and we had enough people to clean the house & wash all the dishes ourselves so it was no big deal.

This house was everything we hoped for. Plenty of room for 6 girls and we actually played pool. We’ll definitely return next year.

Our group of 9 all loved the house. It was very spacious and accommadated everyone comfortably. We all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, fire pit and the ability for us all to be able to sit down together and eat together. The owner was prompt to answer questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Spent a weekend here with a few friends and family and it couldn’t have worked out better. Plenty of beds and baths for our entire group, plus more space than I originally expected. Kitchen and upstairs area was a nice to just hang out and watch some TV or make some breakfast, while most of our time in the house was spent downstairs, which had a great set up with a nice sized bar, pool table, bar table, couch, TV, and fireplace. Nice sized hot tub outside on the lower deck was put to use with no issues. Mike was easy to get in touch with when checking in and very responsive to all questions ahead of our weekend. Only two small issues were the upstairs bathrooms don’t get great water pressure, although no issues on the lower two levels, which I’m sure gravity has a hand in, and the downstairs sliding door seems to be a little messed up as it was difficult to open and lock. Overall a great house with tons of room and plenty to do, not to mention a great location in Lake Harmony. Would definitely recommend.

Let me start by saying there are a lot of things my friends and I enjoyed about this house. Like that it has newly installed AC which is so nice for muggy nights. The house also had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group. The fireplaces were cozy and there was plenty of available parking, where we didn’t constantly need to shuffle cars when someone wanted to run an errand. The kitchen was big and seemed relatively recently redone. The two decks were nice to have but were pretty waterlogged which I anticipate is normal for the area. The outside fire pit was spacious and had comfortable chairs near it, the perfect place to enjoy the PA outdoors. Now onto the not so great things. Even though the kitchen seemed recently redone, the appliances were on their last leg. One of the burners on the stove didn't work, the dishwasher worked to clean most dishes but was quite literally falling apart. The bottom rack would shoot out given how unlevel it was, and the top rack was held in place by an extremely rusty screw and the twist tie from a loaf of bread. The first and second level floors desperately needed to be mopped and the rug needed to be vacuumed. There was a leaking sink in the middle level of the house which wasn’t repaired until a plumber came out three times. Half of the windows didn't open and at least one of the windows that opened was a pain to shut when the cranking mechanism came off its hinge. The sliding doors to the backyard had similar troubles. Both doors and the screen were misaligned in the tracks and difficult to open and close. The hot tub water had leaves and grit in it from the moment we opened it. The HDMI ports didn’t work in the upstairs TV. The shower in the master queen on the third floor had either super hot water or super cold water and was rarely a temp in between. This is a difficult review to write, because we really enjoyed our time together, but the house has a lot of very fixable flaws that really could have heighten our vacation instead of pulling away from it.

We were a party of 16 (all young professionals), and this house was perfect. Big Boulder was literally 3 minutes away and the hot tub was perfect to relax in after a day on the slopes. The house itself is huge, perfect for large groups. The two entertaining spaces work out really well and the TWO coffee pots made for very pleasant mornings (nice touch!). The owners were really helpful throughout the reservation process and I received timely responses to all my emails and got my security deposit back just days after we left. We're already planning our trip for next year!

I rented this house for our annual thanksgiving family get together - it was wonderful. The house was clean with comfortable rooms with enormous beds! We were 3 families with kids ranging from 18months to 12 years old - there was enough room so that kids had their own space to play while adults cooked or hungout. The kitchen was well stocked, which was very important! An added bonus are the owners who were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The area is peaceful and is probably beautiful during spring/summer with plenty of things to do.

We had an amazing stay here, a perfect weekend getaway from the city. The house is huge, plenty of bedrooms with 2 living rooms so its perfect for accommodating a lot of people. Its a short walk to the Lake, and the community is nice to walk around as well. The owners are super friendly and responsive, and made everything extremely easy for us. Definitely recommend staying here.

We were looking for a property in the mountains as a way to reward members of our organization for their months of hard work, and as a nice change of scenery from our local town. To find such a property under our price point that offered so much both inside and out was very pleasantly surprising. Everyone in my group has given me nothing but compliments and thanks for taking the time and effort to find such a stunning property. I would highly recommend it to any group of people looking for a weekend away, whether it be with family or friends. We would definitely look to rent this property again if our group could be accommodated.

WOW!! This house exceeded my expectations. Comfortable and clean with plenty of space for the family to move around without being on top of each other. We were blessed with beautiful weather and took full advantage. However, even if the weather wasn't as nice, we would have had a great time with all the amenities this home offered. I booked the house again for ski season with my friends. Can't wait to go back. The owners were very quick with responses to my many questions. Having been there, I can now confirm they were honest as well. Great people, great home, great experience. This home is on our do-over list!
