We loved the location and the ambiance of the hotel
The parking was a couple blocks away which could be a problem for some people.

The staff rang us for breakfast in the morning which we really appreciated because we thought we had missed it. It was lovely as well!

We booked a family room, good for the 3 of us
We went off season but being on the main street, it was a little noisy, not complaining it was warm in the room even with the heating off and I didn't want to open the window due to the street noise

The staff make this hotel! They were so nice and friendly. Nothing was too much effort for them. They are so welcoming. The staff are definitely 10/10

My husband and myself stayed at Portree Hotel for two nights 9 - 11 October we are holidaying in Scotland from Australia.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had breakfast included in our booking and we thoroughly enjoyed it and there were many options to choose from.
We had dinner in the restaurant both evenings and the food was fantastic as were the choices on the menu.
We would highly recommend Portree Hotel for the friendly atmosphere and the ideal location.

Cleanliness and friendly staff. Close to everything you could need for your stay.
Car park is a little confusing in Portree but the hotel was nice enough to explain it.

Large room overlooking the square.
Large bathroom with fresh towels daily. Excellent food in restaurant. Polite friendly and helpful staff.
No lift in hotel and we were on 2nd floor which meant two flights of stairs to walk up. Had to keep pulling down Roman blind when using bathroom as we were in one of the front rooms. Couldn't sit in bar as tables were reserved for people eating dinner. Not all residents of hotel either.
