The microwave was clean.

Where do I start! 1. Residents with kids shouting and screaming on both nights which started at midnight. I alerted the agency to this immediately on the first night and they said they'd emailed the residents but it obviously had no effect as it was the same the next night. 2. Absolutely disgusting smell that kept wafting around the flat. We think this may have come from an old t-shirt that was under one of the beds. I have never smelt anything like it, but I imagine it's what decomposing flesh would smell like. 3. Stains all round the property including one that looked like a little lump of human poo on the bedroom wall. Stains all over the carpet in the lounge. Again alerted agency in the email but only the noise issue was commented on in their reply email. 4. The sofas in the lounge were no where near like the ones in the photos. One was green and looked liked the sort of think you'd find in a skip. It had Stains all over it so we couldn't sit on. 5. The dial of the radiator in the small bedroom was snapped off and chucked behind the radiator. We tried to reattach it and when we did we discovered previous guests' pants shoved down there as well! 6. Various utensils filthy, hob dirty, exposed pipes on the boiler. 7. Went to iron my son's brand new top he'd got for Chrismtas and white residue ended up all over it. Realised the iron was covered in what looked like toothpaste, if it's limescale then it's worse I've ever seen. 8. No plug in the kitchen sink and a plug that didn't fit in the bathroom meaning once one of us had had a bath none of us could run a new one or have a shower. 9. Youngest child woke up covered in flea bites yesterday morning. 10. No reply to the email I sent yesterday in the the early hours asking for a full refund. The stay totally ruined our Christmas. We were absolutely exhausted from the noise and couldn't relax at all in the lounge as carpet and sofas were disgusting.

i didn’t like the outside of the property..i feel the surroundings are not clean enough.

Efficient check in by leaving key in locked box. Clean linen, soap, washing up liquid provided which was great for late check in

Sofa bed not suitable / comfortable for 2 adults. Only 3 dining chairs for 4 adults, and recliner armchair in need of repair. Bad smell in hallway leading to ground floor room & someone kept leaving brick in front door to keep it open which didn't feel safe

Location was great, nice and simple arrangement and very well communicated.

A night light in the bedroom is the only thing that could've been better.

The flat was in a perfect position for our purposes. It is a couple of minutes walk from Mowbray Park which is a fantastic park which is very large. A couple more minutes walk and you're in Sunderland itself. Also within five minutes drive you are at Ryhope or a couple more minutes you're at Seaham. Both have fantastic beaches which are relatively safe to let the children run free.

Paid £20 for an early check in between 12 noon and 1pm. Apartment looked like it had not been cleaned before our arrival. However beds were nicely made up and brand new towels left out. Had an issue with an item of jewellery which I accidentally left behind. Staff have been helpful but not helpful! 3 people have given 3 promises of call backs but non received.

Clean and good

Flat was clean inside, very comfy beds, plenty of space. Good to have proper fridge, cooker, microwave for self-catering rather than staying in a B and B. Plenty of trees so could see birds and squirrels from the flat.

Outside was quite run down and shabby, with lots of cigarette ends on the ground from people who smoked at front door. Slight smell of smoke in flat, bought air freshener, and could also do with a few more dishes and cutlery.

General cleanliness let this accommodation down, we’re unable to have a shower s the temperature gage on the shower did not work and water was far too hot to stand under.

Apartments at 10-15 mins walk from centre. We had a one bedroom apartment, it was spacious & clean. Great & plentiful parking outside the apartment, which was free. Overall a great stay.

The apartment we stayed in was very clean and tidy when we arrived, the location was really good as was close to bus stops to reach local amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable and towels were.provided for every member of the party staying.

There were a couple of wee things broken, however we informed the staff and they took our comments on board. We werent bothered about the broken items as we were only there to sleep, we just wanted to keep ourselves right.

I liked the location and the size of the accommodation with multiple beds in the rooms was really useful for us.

It’s an old building so the floorboards were very creaky, there was a sewage smell in the bathroom/kitchen area and the curtains in one of the bedrooms were really thin so they let in a lot of light and this made it difficult for my children to sleep well.
