Very hard to find a parking space

Location and comfortness.

Small suggestion is to keep dish washing liquids and enough kitchen towels which was missing. Also air conditioning not in a good working condition for bedroom. Without aircon or ventilation little hard when it is warmer.

Location was close to a station (Durandy) on the T2 line, so getting there was fairly convenient. Prospective guests should be wary of the nature of previous reviews regarding this property. The host will claim that all the previous guests were happy with the property, which is an assertion I find highly questionable. To provide context for my review, I have stayed in over 300 properties over the past 15 years and this is the only time where my experience was so appalling that I've needed to go through Booking Customer Service to resolve the issue. Details are below.

Be informed: -HYGIENE AND COMFORT: The place reeked of cigarette smoke; the only source of air into the whole apartment is from a door (on the ground level). The hygiene standard of the apartment was filthy with dust in many places and a visibly poor level of cleaning between guests. Visitors with families or health considerations should avoid due to potential health hazard. -COMMUNICATION OF HOST: When I initially addressed an issue on the phone of having difficulty connecting to the internet, the host Maurice, rather than helping me with the issue, simply responded with saying that "no one else has problems with the internet." I asked him to come by and help and he refused, even though previously he said he was living only 150m away from the property. When I addressed the issue of the smell of cigarettes, he said that there were previous guests earlier and that I just had to open the door. It was clear that he gave minimum care to the guest experience. A few minutes later, there was an owner (a woman, presumably Laura) who met me at the apartment. I was so disgusted with the behavior of Maurice on top of the hygiene standards that I wanted to simply leave. This was approved by the owner, and I returned the key within 10 minutes of being in the apartment. -DISHONESTY AND REFUSAL OF REFUND: It was agreed with the owner that I could leave and this entire stay and transaction would be cancelled with a full refund. Subsequently however, Maurice simply disappeared from contact even though I contacted him through phone, text message, Whatsapp, and Booking's messaging service. This was presumably in the effort to avoid issuing a refund. -REPEATEDLY IGNORING MESSAGES AND REFUND CONFIRMATIONS FROM BOOKING CUSTOMER SERVICE: I have subsequently been calling Booking's Customer Service to facilitate this refund processing, and Maurice has repeatedly ignored these messages and phone calls.

Everything is perfect

Location is good. 5 minutes walk to the Old town, 10 to the beach, 15-20 minutes to the train station, 50 meters to the nearest tramp station. Duplex is the same as on the pictures. Regardless the fact that this is a ground floor, it feels like safe neighborhood. Cozy for three adults (family). Pleasant host.

The entrance door is the only one fresh air window.

The location is perfect, very calm area, the appartement itself is nice and modern, very easy to find

We couldn’t sleep there. After the sunset there were huge cockroaches and bugs everywhere, they were coming from the dining room next to the bathroom. And they were literally EVERYWHERE: our bags, our shoes, curtains, toilets. Horrible. Couldn’t sleep nor stay there in the evening. Also the ac wasn’t working, so it was quite hot inthere and the owner just told us to wait and then stopped replying to our messages 🤷‍♀️ But with those insects that wasn’t our biggest problem Not a relaxing holiday at all. Had to stay most of the time outside. The appartement was basically just for our bags and shower

Very good and spacious studio flat, near the city center and the blue beach ( amazing beach), next door has a small shopping with everything you need. The only problem is car parking, you need found a place on the road and sometimes is difficult to find it. You have to pay but it is not very expansive. We have a great time there and we will be back.

The cleaner is not good I think as the studio flat is so good it deserves a good cleaner, if you don’t bother about it the money worthy.

There are 2 shops just in front of the apartment, which helps a lot! 15 min until the beach 🏝 15 until the train station, 10 min until the metro station which is called Jean Médecin (don’t remember exactly) from which you can go to the airport! All in all, the location of the apartment is perfect! Have a good trip!
