Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, but not a lot of extra space if you were wanting to spend much time there (we didn't!)

A warm welcome - friendly and helpfull hostess. Very comfortable bed, very good facilities, great breakfast, great location and even a brilliant pub in walking distance down the road. Quiet night in peaceful countryside.

The shared bathroom might not suit some, but was fine for us. An alternative loo might be good for if someone was having a long shower.

A lovely quiet rural location within easy reach of Wells,Bath And Cheddar. The breakfast had everything you could want and a flexible time.

Good location: quiet, good walking area and places to eat within walking distance. Excellent breakfast. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Ideal for one night stopover en route.

Overall the property was clean but lacked basic maintenance, ie bathroom door didn't lock/unlock properly, dining chair foot rail fell off, cobwebs/spiders in chandelier in room, mattress sunk in the middle for some reason, possibly a broken slat? We wouldn't stay again simply because the bed in that room was too soft for us, combined with the sinking issue.

Very tasty breakfast. Chris and her partner did everything possible to make us an excellent tasty breakfast. I am vegetarian, but Chris made a great vegetarian breakfast.
