Breakfast was good. Location good.
No Wifi details in room. Room was ok.

walk/hike the Cotswold Way directly on route.
Bathroom remodeled but that was all (water temp and pressure issues).
beds belong in the dump. No WiFi reaches room. Breakfast was below average offerings.
Room 11 location was a confusing maze of a joke to get there. Down long dark hallways filled with junk and multiple staircases.
No in room safety chain or deadbolt. No phone down to front desk. Should not be let for half the cost.

Large room, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom.
Room was up many stairs - carrying things up there after long day walking wasn’t fun 😊. No WiFi in the rooms. Breakfast wasn’t great.

Had small breakfast everyday, lovely. Also had 3 evening meals with upto 7 people each time the food was lovely, seving staff delightful as were all throughout the hotel. Very pleased with our choice.

We stayed here whilst walking the Cotswold Way. The location was absolutely perfect being on route, the room was immaculate and comfy, staff were so friendly and the food was brilliant (both evening meal and breakfast). Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Lovely bar area with charming staff. Good menu choices for supper and prompt service. Lovely old hotel with plenty of character.

A light breakfast was included in the price for the booking and was perfectly adequate. All the staff were efficient and very friendly.
Many stairs to get to our room so be aware of this if you have mobility problems! We weren’t told about this - actually not a problem for us but it could be for others.

My favorite place to stay of all 11 places while walking The Cotswold Way. Great location. The owners were exceptionally kind and courteous. Really made me feel welcome and cared for after a long day of walking. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Room was fantastic. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Bed was only average, felt like a cheap mattress and areas leading up to room(11) via stairs was shabby and looked like a store room.

The venue / pub / breakfast / restaurant was really great value for money and had a great atmosphere! Staff were very helpful and between them and the venue made the stay superb!
The room was a little noisy with pigeons roosting next door and the bath taps had been removed - after two days walking the cotswold way I wanted a bath but should have checked with the venue first.

The hotel was full of character with modern and spotlessly clean bedrooms ..the breakfast was excellent.
Parking for the hotel is a public car park with a 23 hou
r limit so if staying for a few days you need to keep moving the car.
Some of the staircases are very steep but cannot be helped because of the age and quirkiness of the building.

Despite bering a fairly small and slightly odd shaped room, it was very clean with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
For the price, which I felt was a little high for what is essentially a room above a pub, I would have expected a full English breakfast. However, for your £126 you only get a light breakfast of toast and cereals. This wasn't clear on booking.

room was very cold. it was at the top of a lot of stairs and in the morning the door out of the stairs and corridors which was a fire door was locked. which is against the law
