The staff are exceptionally helpful. Beds firm as I prefer them and room, grounds very clean! It’s very quiet but close to gourmet coffee shops, Italian bistros and wood fired pizza places!

Loved it so much! Everything was great! Very nice staff, excellent room and the location was also very convenient.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t have breakfast at the hotel.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is just perfect next to many main spots and we can rent bykes and ATV with the hotel which is greaat. We felt like home at Casa Santiago, will recommend this place 100%

Lack of facilities, I.e. can’t buy drinks from the hotel, nor is there any info re. ordering in food. Towels were dirty 2 days. Need a car to explore Tulum properly

The location was great, very close to bars and restaurants. You can rent bikes from the hotel, but they can be found cheaper elsewhere. The room was huge!

There were loads of mosquitoes in the room when I arrived so I got bitten a lot. The pool is really small, smaller than I'd thought from the photos. The hotel took a "pre-authorisation" on my card for the whole cost of the stay and a deposit for the towels (amounting to almost £200). He said that he would cancel this cost of my stay and charge my card again as they had to do the pre-authorisation. He said it would be returned to me within 72 hours. I queried this and asked if he could not just push through the pre-authorised amount, considering it was already pending but he said he could not. Its now been 8 days and the money still hasn't been returned to me. I've messaged him a few times and now he has told me that it will be within 20 business days, which I think is totally unacceptable. The hotel also offered to arrange an airport transfer for me which was great, but due to me travelling, I didn't have signal. I arrived in Mexico and sent a message to ask if one had been arranged but didn't get a response, I then found my own taxi after going through passport control, etc. And got a message from the owner when I had left the airport to say that a driver was there waiting for me. I apologised a lot and he said it was fine, but he was annoyed and a bit rude when I arrived. Everywhere was clean, but there was quite a smell from the drains (which isn't uncommon for Mexico)

I loved how helpful Enrique and Martin were super helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with car rentals, room bookings, suggestions about Tulum and even other places. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you. We really enjoyed our room as well. Had the best sleeps :)

The staff are absolutely amazing! Super helpful with everything. The rooms are large and clean. The hot water in the shower is great. There is free coffee and drinking water in everyday and location in La Valeta is Perfect. I would stay here again.

The personel, clean spacious room. everything was good here.

maybe a chrome cast so that is can stream stuff from my phone to the TV or a HDMI cable so that I can connect my laptop. also a small cabinet around the fridge so that you hear it less in the night.

Very friendly staff, bikes to rent for 150 mxn pesos without any troubles. Nice an big room very comfortable. Airconditioner worked perfectly. Best rooms we had so far in Mexico! Bars in a fiew meters. Very nice italian restaurant 5 minutes away. I had an online exam for university and it was so calm, I could easily concentrate. The wifi worked fine.
