Location is fantastic in the heart of Ubud, walking distance to everywhere

It was really dirty, full kitchen facilities but nothing to cook with, not even a dish cloth or tea towel. Fridge not cleaned, bathroom dirty, still stains all over the mirror. Place was crawling with ants.

We loved the villa pool and the location was amazing. The second bedroom in the villa was upstairs which was fantastic for our teenage son.

Gora House was a great hotel, just off the main road in Ubud. The location was perfect walking distance to all the sights of Ubud. The rooms were clean and spacious. Big comfortable double bed and great AC. The pool was also a nice addition and great to relax by.

Nothing really! You could hear people in the other rooms if they were playing music etc, but a minor issue

The staff is lovely. The location is perfect. The location is excellent. The grounds are beautiful.The bed is big and comfortable.

The curtains needed cleaning.

The room was dirty, spiders, insects, bad smell in the toilet…they don’t change our towels we left on the flour, no towel for hands…The breakfast was poor just one plate to choose, some fruit and coffee( a bit disgusting…). We weren’t confortable at all…

It was very comfortable, the landscaping was lush and the pool was clean and lovely to relax and spend time in. It was close to shops, cafes and restaurants so everything was within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised at the sense of luxury for the budget cost. Will be happy to return.

Not a dislike in any way, but the accommodation was hard to get to. You can only get to it by scooter or by foot

The girl at the reception was nice and the pool was nice.

I found somebody else’s used mens underwear in the end of my bed under the sheets that I had slept in for two nights and when telling the manager he didn’t even apologise and just said nothing, they didn’t restock the toilet paper, the towel rail kept falling off the wall and the soap and shampoo had not been topped up and there was no conditioner. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here even if it meant sleeping on the street.

Near the main street but tucked away so you don't hear all the chaos. Pool was very nice.

Ants all over the room. Next to no ammenities provided. Shampoo and a 20% filled body soap container only.

Spacious rooms. Very convenient and beautiful location. Nice ambience. Very reasonably priced.

Housekeeping very very poor. No responsible person available at property. Absolutely no use of making complaints with the Manager through WhatsApp. Communication in English was a big problem. We 21 persons stayed in 11 rooms for 4 nights. The property was aware that we are going to place negative reviews for housekeeping. Hence they fraudulently reported to booking.com that we did not show up and hence the booking was shown as Cancelled. This was done to ensure that we cannot write reviews. We contacted the property through WhatsApp thrice about this but there was no response. Hence we complained about this to booking.com who provided facility to give these reviews. The behavior of the property host is highly objectionable and such properties should be delisted.

When we arrived the room was still dirty.

This house is in a pretty good location, not too far of a walk from the main areas. It is however, located down a narrow alley which can be very dark and lonely at night. During the day it’s fine.

The bedsheets were very dirty with stains all over them. The bathroom had hairs in the shower. The wifi rarely worked, I messaged the property about it but nothing changed. We were not greeted and told where breakfast was etc when we checked in. Just given our key and that was it. A lot of rubbish hanging around the stairs, very unclean.

We loved everything! The ensured we had vegan breakfast options prior to our holiday and sent through a menu with three different options (nasi goreng, bean curd with vegetables and rice, tofu with vegetables and rice), fresh fruit and water. We arrived after midnight and were met by the wonderful property manager, he showed us to our room and took our breakfast order. We loved everything about staying her and will definitely be back. The room was spacious, bright and quiet, bed wonderfully comfortable, pools great - we only swam in the small one by our room but the large one beside the restaurant was lovely. We were upstairs and loved the view every morning looking over the area and down to the pool in the rising sun. The staff were all amazing, so friendly and fantastic at their jobs. Our rooms was cleaned every day, the bed made and water bottles replaced. The vegan breakfasts they made for us were delicious and we're missing our nasi goreng! The location was gorgeous, close enough to central Ubud, but tucked down cute wee lanes so it was quiet and relaxing. We had a suitcase and bag each and it wasn't an issue to come down the lanes with them and leave with them. We really loved our stay here. Thank you! We will be back!

Nothing - everything was perfect. There was a mouldy smell in the stair well, towards the bottom due to a wet mattress being stored under the stairs at the bottom, but it wasn't an issue.

great location, was down a quiet alley away from the busy main street. walking distance to markets, shops and dinner spots etc. nice pool area nice breakfast, you get small selection of fruits, choice of drink and choice of meal option (banana pancake was my fav) room was large bathroom vanity had enough space

It's hard to say. The pillows, sheets, towels and washroom smelled. I felt that more effort should be put into cleanliness. sorry...

Location was good but there's a 3-4 min walk from the road. The staff is extremely sweet and accomodative. The pancakes for breakfast were awesome too!

The towels provided were very old and hence smelled after every use. The wash basin clogged too.

Location, walking distance to Ubud town centre and its attractions. Certainly value for money, the property is clean, fairly spacious and the staff are nice.

Wifi was hit and miss in the room, we ended up going to the restaurant area to make calls, message etc.

The location is great , good if you don’t care so much about it is clean . The breakfast is ok eggs , 1 slice of bread and small plate of fruit (considering that in most hotels-hostels in Bali they offer you fried rice etc).

We arrived and were greeted by two young men, they spoke little English. It was already 10 pm and there was no natural light, however we could see that the room was VERY DIRTY. THE SHEETS were stained and DIRTY, they had NOT been changed. I contacted the young guys and without giving further explanation they changed the sheets. the mosquito net has never been washed and was disgusting to use. The room was dirty ( floor with dirt and spiders with spider web ) . It is good since it is very CENTRAL and if it is ONLY used to sleep, it is fine.
