Next door construction just bad timing. The pool was exceptionally cold, perhaps a solar heating??? 😉

De dame die ons de sleutels bezorgde was heel vriendelijk en lief. Ze stond altijd klaar om via WhatsApp te antwoorden op vragen. Ze raadde ons ook The Great White House aan om 's avonds te dineren en dat was echt een prima tip! We hebben hier zeer lekker gegeten allemaal. De villa en het zicht op de oceaan zijn echt prachtig. Deze villa ligt in een mooie, rustige woonwijk.

The house is super well stocked, the decor is really beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. The hostess, Leigh, was fantastic - really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her.

There was no backup plan for loadshedding - we felt that a property of this caliber should have been equipped with at least a UPS or small inverter to power the wifi while the power was out and possibly some solar panels as well as there are a lot of cost effective options available these days. Also of the 2 couches in the lounge area, one was super uncomfortable - you had to hold yourself onto it to stay on without sliding off as the seats were slanted downwards.

This place is beyond awesome. The views are indescribable. The pool and braai area, overlooking the ocean is a special treat. The house is nice and spacious and has absolutely everything that you might need. Loved the bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable. Gas Oven during load shedding helped a lot! I hope to return every January for a few days of relaxation as this little piece of paradise. The photo's that I have uploaded were all taken from the pool area.

Minor - The braai grid is a bit old and needs to be replaced. Need a brush for braai grid as well.

Excellent location, we were there to watch wales and it was the perfect place to stay for watching wales. The house is next to the rocks looking out on the sea, with uninterrupted views. The house was well equipped. We really enjoyed the fire place during the cold evenings.

We missed having a washing machine.

The view from the house is spectacular. Huge verandah with lot of outside seatings and cushions.

Only some minor not really important remarks. The door of the master bedroom did not lock. The 2nd bedroom had no windows to open. Only a sliding door that was fixed, so we could not open it. The front door sprang open, when it was windy. We always had to lock it.

Lovely and comfortable place, fantastic location, very peaceful.

Bathroom and 1 bedroom need some maintenance. Seems to be a damp issue Garden needs maintenance too

Beautiful views and serene scenery that refreshes the soul!! The house is very well equipped for a family of 5 people., so we did not lack anything during our stay. The host, Leigh, is super welcoming.

No WiFi reach in the fourth bedroom on the outside of the main house (also very little mobile data signal in the area) - so recommend that a booster/extender be placed in the room.
