The place is good, because it is located close to the sea and shopping centers, also - good access to highways if you plan to travel.

There were plenty of mosquitos hiding everywhere. In the bedroom, in the bathroom. Everybody was bitten during the first night. After we realized that, we used to keep windows fully closed starting before sunset. After you hit all those which flew in through the day, then you can live the night. One more very bad thing - the train station. The room was "garden view", so the train station is just right behind the house. So you can hear them coming, leaving, speaking, beeping, etc. So when we kept the windows closed, the noise was lower, but still, it used to wake us early in the mornings. The apartment itself needs renovation, the tabes are not stable, and in the rooms, there were plastered walls with unfinished work. In one of the rooms no place to hang your clothes (no wardrobe), lack of hangers in the others. Also, lack of kitchenware. Also, the hob was not working properly - there was a lack of heating power for some of the pots. As we used to travel to other places like this, we used to find some spices, at least some salt - maybe leftovers from other guests. Sometimes it is very useful, so you do not need to buy 1 kilo of salt if you need 1 tablespoon of it. In this case, there was nothing at all. And one more thing - if somebody is smoking downstairs in the garden or on the first floor, all the smoke goes into the room. If you are a smoker, maybe it could help you to save one or a few cigarettes, if not - better to have a none smoker below you.

Brilliant location, opposite the beach - you could hear the waves lapping on the shore from the apartment. The simplicity of the layout, modern bright and clean

It was February and the property was cold. It took 2-3 days to warm up. No comfortable seating in the apartment - but comfortable, warm and bright shared living room at the front of the house. Limited hot water meant that showers were short, cold or well spread out

it is best to visit in a warmer period, first night was quite cold as the apartment was not heated at all and it needed about 12 hours to come to 20 degrees

We enjoyed the location, the beautiful old apartment in front of the sea, the place was quite clean and confortable. Staff was really nice. The les barbes salon was super beautiful as well.

Some of the beds weren't confortable (old mattress and uneven structure) and babybeds were old and a bit dirty, but with the staff we managed to adapt them. Maybe towels and bedsheets needed to be renovated?

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay in Apartamentos Les Barbes! Sea view is breathtaking, and you can hear the sound of waves inside your room. Neighborhood is very quiet, although it is located next to the railway station. We got to Barcelona in about 50 minutes from there. The apartment itself is equipped with everything, including dishwasher, tableware, basic cleaning stuff, etc. The communication with the host was simple, the registration process was smooth. I really recommend.

Great location: clean beach, restaurants, shops, railway station near by. ~ Everything in 5- 7 minutes walking distance. In ~ 40 mins you can get to Barcelona by train. In case you buy return ticket, you don't have to book seat neither time when you plan to come back, train was comming every ~ 15, later 30 minutes till late evenings... Our host, Max, prepared for us on our arrival a welcome bottle of wine ROSADO 2021! Very nice :) For those who would like to meet local people, learn Spanish, experience the local culture, this is a perfect fit!

Appartment didn't offer a hairdryer. This is was not either part of the offer, however I wrongly assumed it will be there.. so this was my mistake ;), however just raising for an awareness, for some ladies/ girls with long hair this could be helpful info :) Meal/ lunch/ kitchen in the restaurants were closed at ~ 3:15 pm, then siesta...till ~ 7pm...;)

Second time we stay here. Love the building, love the location and love the area. The main room was beautiful. The flat was nice with balcony and lovely views. You can here the waves and the sea all night long- love it!

There were lots of ants that we couldn’t get rid of. We were in a smaller flat , we knew it as it was the only one left, the kitchen area could be improved a little by adding an extra side table.

Top location and some nice design, but many things remained from 30-40 years ago without any uphaul. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apt with only 1 set of keys. Owner said no 2nd key set is available. Bathrooms were poor with old and not fitted shower curtains. Photos were taken of a nice old house, but our apartment was in a newer part of the building attached to the old one- View was great, but all rooms were on different levels and were accessible on narrow stairs. Nice open fireplace in the living room, but unfortunately with an unpleasant odor of smoke.

Perfekt Location for our needs. Special for Family. Highly recommended.

Lovely huge apartment with two rooms separated by a huge kitchen-living room. Entry without problems, the keys in the box with the code. Everywhere is very clean. From the windows there is a beautiful view of the sea. Excellent wifi, there is paid parking. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances, a good set of dishes.
