It was on great shape and was laid out very well

I would have loved to have more time there to take walks or ride my bike in this area. The host was so very kind to wait up late for our arrival and we truly appreciate as we were traveling with children. We were driving far and was delayed by traffic. We loved that there was parking for an American size mini van and was able to park close for unloading and offloading luggage. The house is a converted barn and you can tell that the owners put alot of thought, hard work and love into the property, it was beautiful. So many details we loved. We loved that there were two excellent full bathrooms with tub and stand up shower. One on each floor. There are 2 bedrooms on each floor and the beds are good size and comfortable. The house is very clean and well designed. The kitchen was very well equipped with a nice dishwasher. There is a decent size fridge and a separate large freezer. We loved the property as it is located on a farm and the kids were surprised to meet the lovely animals residing at the farm (horses, sheep, donkey, etc.). There is also a small playground and trampoline for the kids. There is a grocery store driving distance and we were about 20 minutes from Brugge for a sporting event and to visit the Christmas markets. In past reviews many mentioned spiders/mosquitos. Note that this property is not in city area and in a farming area. It was not an issue for us in November.

The directions for the appliances were available and was needed as the oven was really a specialized microwave. There is no washing machine/dryer which we knew at the time of booking. The property is 20 min away from Brugge so a vehicle will be needed.
