I really liked that the room was big, the bathroom was exceptionally clean and the restaurant where we had dinner was great, very good pizzas! The check in was smooth, the location is fantastic and we really enjoyed the facilities.
The room was terribly hot at night, we had a fan but it hardly cooled us and we ended up not sleeping half of the night (windows were open, didn’t help). We were in the inner room without the balcony so maybe it was hotter than other rooms

The room very clean with comfortable beds. Outside beautiful view. I reccomend!
The only minus is curtain under shower which sticks to the body.

Super nice staff, small location, very local, good choice of food and drinks, home made cakes for breakfast.

The location is good, surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The air is fresh and the neighborhood is quiet, which makes for a very good nights rest.
The restaurant menu offers a very good selection of portions and combinations of regional dishes.
The staff is accomidating and friendly, and made me feel welcome.
The pillows on the bed were extra large, which does not particularly suit me, but it wasn't important enough to cause me to ask for anything different. I just dozed off and slept well.

Somewhere to stay
The bathroom is so small that I couldn't even close the door. Bathroom measured around 1.3m by 1.2.
The shower recess is very, very slippery. An accident waiting to happen!

Great and quiet location with an amazing view on the mountains! The room was nice and clean with a cute small balcony where you could sit and look at the mountains. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but sufficient.
The staff doesn't speak English, but we were able to communicate :)

la Svolta is in the middle of several trails in Valtellina and the landscape visible from the hotel it’s astonishing. The hotel is not too far from Chiuro, so it’s easy to commute either by car; on foot or even by train. The restaurant it’s remarkable: others in the nearby are pretty comparable, so there’s no needs to look for something else. The staff is available; professional and easygoing.
Too close to one of the main streets, so during lively times, it would be bothering and comfort might decrease. However this could depends also on room’s location: mine was facing toward the road.

We asked for one large bed, but after finishing the booking we received message that there is no such rooms left and we've got two separated beds. But they are mobile, so we connected them.

The staff was amazing - made me feel like I am a part of Italian family. The attitude was great!

All was great, having the restaurant downstairs is a plus. Owner was super nice, even tho she didn't spoke English.
Noise from other guests, but that's not the hotel fault.

I travel by bicycle to this place. Came late and was welcomed were warmly. I fully recommend it!
