I have two words for this place: VIEW and STAFF. Waking up each day to a view of the Picos was the highlight of my holiday and eating the home-cooked food and home-grown produce in the hotel's restaurant, served by the owners themselves made me feel like I was a family guest. The location is nearby the lovely town of Potes - close enough to walk - but also rural enough to make you really feel like you're in nature.

Having to let them know each day that I wanted breakfast the next morning was a bit of a pain, as I would have preferred to just commit to an option (half board or not) was a bit of a pain to remember, and it was a bit stressful to know that if I arrived back hungry from hiking in the evening and hadn't booked dinner, I might have to just eat the snacks I'd brought with me because no one was around to cook. There wasn't a pay-by-card option and I couldn't find anyone the last morning I was there and needed to pay, so I ended up just leaving cash and hoping it was the right amount. I liked the relaxed style but appreciate a system so I can just arrange everything in advance and relax.

The garden facing the mountains. Breakfast was good and generous, so were the evening meals with tomatoes from the vegetable garden. Friendly hosts. very good value.

A lovely small hotel. The location is fantastic. The hosts are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Ensure you try the food. The host is also the cook. We had a truely fabulous evening meal. We would, without hesitation, return for another visit.

What we loved about this hotel is that you felt like one of the family. It is family owned and run and they make you fit right in. A lot of effort was made in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the meals we had there and the enthusiasm with which they were made and served. It's location was for us perfect. It was a stop after a long day's drive through the Picos and was just perfect. The rooms were not fancy but certainly comfortable. Parking was available in front and there is a nice garden to relax in.

Helpful staff, assisted with luggage and lent us a router as signal bad in our room, Quiet and peaceful. Good sized room, great views, sunny balcony. Plentiful breakfast (cost extra). Great bathroom, lots of shelf space and window to ventillate.

No bar or restaurant in Aliezo, so needed to pay extra for breakfast at accommodation. Better to make this clear and include in the price. Had to drive to restaurant for dinner as none nearby. Poor Wifi signal.

Really near from Potes, making it easy to go there and to Fuente Dé. Big and clean, room, with a nice balcony with a view. Friendly staff.

We could hear everything the other rooms were doing - and I mean really everything, especially late hours at night. The sound just seemed to be in our own room. Watch out for this if you're going with kids. Also heating as not enough as we went in winter, so a bit cold at night.

Recently stayed at this Posada and highly recommend it. We received a warm welcome. It has a rustic charm, great views and Luis the owner and chef cooked us a great dinner and he grows many of his own vegetables. He also offered to drive and collect us from a restaurant in the nearby town of Potes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cold tap in the bathroom didn’t work unless the cold water supply stopcock was opened (and subsequently closed) to allow/prevent a flow. This was our only negative!

Beautiful location, delicious food, friendly staff, and perfect views.

- nice view from the room. - the room had some character with wooden shutters and exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. - efficient staff. No pleasantries though. I dont mind. They seem very busy. - Potes, with its restaurants and bakeries (for breakfast), is a 3 minute drive.

- parking is a little tricky. Its in front of the building in a corner and on a slope of a very small road. Not a lot of space.

Wonderful stay, amazing views from the room, lovely little garden, great home made breakfast and very friendly owners. Close to a couple of good restaurants (5 min walk) and close to Potes (4 min drive). Perfect base to explore the Picos. Thank you!!

Amazing location! You open the window, you see beautiful mountains, you sit in the garden even more beautiful views! It is so peaceful there and most importantly the stuff are just wonderful people, very friendly and helpful. I just wish my spanish was better so I could talk with them some more. Will be back for sure!
