El alojamiento tiene mucho encanto. Está ubicado en el mismo centro de Santillana y es comodisimo para visitarla. El personal fue muy amable y el desayuno muy variado. Lo recomiendo sin duda
Diría que no tiene ascensor. Para nosotros no fue un problema pero es bueno saberlo.

Ein traumhaft schönes mittelalterliches Gebäude, dessen liebevolle Ausstattung mit Museumscharakter ein besonderes Gefühl von Geborgenheit vermittelt. Selbst die innenliegenden Fensterläden sind noch original und mit der alten Mechanik verschließbar.
Das Bad ist modern und funktional, die Betten bequem - das Frühstücksbuffet reichlich, der Kaffee sehr lecker. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch für Pilger auf dem Camino del Norte - direkt am Weg und zentral in der Stadt gelegen - etliche Restaurants gleich um die Ecke

The hotel was very interesting and old as it was a rich families palace originally The breakfast was excellent value for money and room was comfortable
There was no parking which could have been a problem either in bad weather or people with mobility issues There was a lack of electrical sockets in the room

Beautiful old building bang in the centre of an amazing Medieval town. Wish I could have stayed longer! Breakfast was good too!
Nothing really. Avoid the Torture Museum opposite though if you are a sensitive person, bit disturbing!

It was like a fairy tale film set. Unbelievable.
It was old, as you’d expect, with the characteristics of old age - squeaky floor boards, noisy plumbing etc. although the bathroom was modern and up to date.

The hotel Altamira was an excellent facility. The room was spacious. The dining facilities on site were wonderful. An excellent breakfast. Truly an outstanding place.

Size of room was great. Location was perfect. Staff were very helpful looked after luggage after check-out and called a taxi for us. The lounge area was nice. Breakfast was OK.
The restaurant had closed for the season. No tea making facilities in room. Cobbles are hard on the feet in the entrance.
