The hot water heater is set way too hot, potential injury waiting to happen. The attitude during check in (Stacy) was far less than desirable. I've been staying at Beach Place for >15 years and fully understand the rules and procedures for this place. I was talked to like I was a 5 year old. We had a slight problem with the AC unit, we called the desk for help and got a similar response, not good. The maintenance man arrived and promptly corrected the problem. He was courteous and professional.

This was however the worst property, very dated, furniture broken and worn, kitchen poorly equipped, not even a potholder, much less serving bowls or enough cups for coffee! Access to John's pass was awesome, but being over the parking lot where teens gather nightly with loud music and loud cars, terrible!

Location across from John's Pass was great. Condo was nice, but the beds could be improved. Master bathroom needs to have the shower fixed (it's a handicap shower which is fine, but water leaks out on to the floor). Overall, we had a fun time here.

There's no better place to vacation than John's Pass. Everything you need is right there. The condo suited our needs however we had to give up the good beds to the kids and the double bed had a less desirable mattress and no ensuite. The condo came well equipped with essentials. Could use some more chairs for the patio and beach towels, but it didn't lessen our enjoyment of the property. Thanks very much for our stay. Hope to be back soon.

We decided to try a different property this year for our family vacation. The pics online made it look amazing and we were excited to stay. Upon walking into the condo that excitement died. It was NOT the place we thought we were getting. The floors were disgusting dirty. Left our feet BLACK within minutes of taking off our shoes. The bathrooms were NOT cleaned. The shower and tub had black debris along the bottom. The wall in the 2nd bathroom with the shower was gouged and had drywall exposed. We immediately went to the store and bought cleaning supplies as none were provided. After moving the rug in the living room so we could properly vacuum and mop the floors we saw what the floors looked like when they were installed. Pure white grout. The rest of the grout was black! The beds were old and hard as a rock. And made the loudest noise when you tried to roll over. The pipes make loud noises when you shower. We made the best of it as we couldn't hop into another one with our small children. It would have been a good place to stay if the owners actually took care of the property. Our grandparents stayed in the other beach place building and their condo was spectacular! Newer furniture, very clean and well kept. The owners of that condo should be proud. We spent most of our time over there. Next year I will do more research before booking just based off pictures alone.

The condo is cute and was a nice size for what we needed. The issue we experienced was due to the red tide the parking lot right next door is where they where dumping the dead fish. The smell was just dreadful you couldn’t sit by the pool in the morning a couple days.

Our Son and his family came from PA and we wanted to start a tradition by staying on the beach. Wow it was great to see dolphins everyday and grandsons loved watching drawbridge going up. Great to be right on beach and to safely walk under bridge to go on boardwalk at John’s Pass. We thought very nice how stocked unit was and having washer/dryer in unit. Condo was nice for the price. 4 adults and 2 children we had plenty of room. Next time we would like to have maybe totally ocean front as this is considered ocean front but you are on end facing the drawbridge. You can see side to right of ocean front. Staff was so friendly. Will definitely go back as we will want to make memories there with our grandsons. We liked the calmer Madeira Beach setting than mobs of ppl at Clearwater Beach. Such a great time! The condo was the perfect amount of room for 4 adults and 4 kids! The laundry in the condo was super convenient. The location was perfect with the beach right here and Johns Pass right across the street! We Love Beach Place! * condo could use a few updates and more stocked kitchen but no big deal!

We had a great stay! The kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable. Both rooms seemed to have been recently updated. The bedrooms were in need of a little TLC but they were still nice (hence 4 stars instead of 5). The whole place could use a fresh coat of paint and some decorations but we would definelty stay again! The building location was perfect, easy to get in/out, close to shops and bars. The pool and beach access were nice as well. Highly recommend!

This place did not end up being the same as the pictures in the website! Needs A Lot of updating. We were at the side of the building overlooking John's Pass and Bubba Gumps so traffic noise is quite loud. The trash shoot is right outside your door and you have people putting their garbage in there before 7am. Definitely not what we expected!!!!!!!
