Everything! Specially the view from the room. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The host welcomed us very good. We recommend this place to anyone going to Ella.

The room was very big, clean and equipped with everything you may need: towel, bed sheets, blanket, chargers adaptors, mosquito net, fan… Fantastic was also the view! From the room balcony you can even see a waterfall! Breakfast (very delicious: egg, fruit, roti, toast, tea..) is served on the balcony so you can enjoy it while admiring the nature. Dimuthu and his wife are super nice and make you feel welcomed. They also provide laundry service if needed. The accommodation is 20 minutes by foot from Ella so if you don’t mind walking you can easily get to the main restaurant, shops.. without driving. Reccomended 100%!

I really enjoyed my stay. I don't think you will find a better view anywhere while enjoying the amazing breakfast which is included. The room is beautifully done. The host is excellent and were very helpful.

I would of like the hot water to be hotter but I feel I am being a little picky

absolutely everything!! the view is the best view we have seen in Sri Lanka it just takes your breath away. the family are so lovely! we had the most delicious breakfast and dinners prepared by them.

breakfast was 2 times late and the staff didn’t speak english very well. the host was not present during our stay.

The bedroom is next to the balcony, which is very nice to step outside and see the amazing view. The host, Dimuthu, is very helpful and kind. The bed is comfy and there is a mosquito net :) breakfast changes a little every day, which is also nice. Sometimes we walked to the city center, other times we used a tuktuk. Its very clean.

It was all very nice. The shower could be a little more hot but that is all.

All good. Beautiful view ... Dimuthu is also a taxi driver, he can manage to drive you some places far.

You can walk easily to the town, however better to organize yourself for the diner or you can ask the guest house also.

The best breakfast view we ever had in Sri Lanka. This is a smal, quiet hotel, very clean, furniture good quality. The bed is comfortable with mosquito net. The room is done with the good taste. The food was excellent and each day different. Dimuthu and his wife are very sympathetic, they drove us to the bus station free of charge. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Loved staying here, the family are super nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the room is very comfortable in a very quiet location with a great view. Definitely want to come back, nicest people ever.

I like the way of hosting. Dimuthu pick up and droped to every where safely. Room had the best view for kithal ella. Food was delicious and they cook what ever you want.

The best breakfast view we had in our Sri Lanka trip. Jungle, forest and waterfall all in one. Such a kind family created beautiful home for us. 10/10. All you will regret is that you have no time to stay here longer!

The view from the balcony was fantastic as was the breakfast. Excellent curry and Rotti, fresh fruit and juice! Everyone was very friendly and forthcoming. They even arranged a taxi transfer for us from their house to Mirissa. We didn't mind having the train tracks close to the house, as the train only pases a couple of times a day and we were awake for the first one around 7 anyway. It was very handy though for hiking Ella Rock as we got a head start being so close to the tracks leading to the starting point of the hiking path. Thank you again for everything!

The bathroom was fine, but I've seen newer ones. More comfortable seating possibilities would be great.

we have a first floor which doesn’t have full view, but it was good enough

there is no any sign from the main road and last 500 are a bit challenging, but it’s ok for Ella in general if you want to have some view

One of the best places to stay at in Ella. It has a stunning view and a really nice place. The property is really nice and has all necessary amenities. The host is a really nice person and he is very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Ella.

Breathtaking views, spacious room & bathroom, clean and with modern design. Breakfast was good, host is friendly, organized an excursion for us and drove us to train station. Place is a short walk on railways to center of Ella.

Breakfasts were great, full of different food (also local food) tasty fresh juices and coffe/ tea. They served curry dal, eggs ,hoppers, tosts, bread ,fruit. Amazing service, very nice and communicative owner, if you want they can also prepare dinner, although we ate outside. When we arrived in late afternoon were offered a tea/coffee with bananas and cookies. What is the best about the place is its location, is not in the center of Ella which for us was actually great, but its still walking distance like 10 min to get there by railways -which was also some attraction for us;) the house is situated on a hill among trees,palm trees, is basically green everywhere, you feel like in jungle. I felt there simply amazing sitting on the terrace watching sunrise and listen to birds that give great concert each morning.Fully recommend the place!

Maybe room itself could be soon refreshed -like painting walls it would also maybe remove a small smell in the room I believe is because of some humidity or installations? in bathroom we met some ants, for me was not a big issue but i know for some it is. Basically thats it, those small things i just mentioned were fully compensated by the service, location and the view. Would came back again.

The apartment is really really nice. The balcony and the view is amazing. Also we got served the best breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka. We would recommend to stay there!

The view.... the room... the breakfast.... the owners.... Everything was amazing... we even had a hairdryer... Coffee and tea making facilities..... If you needed anything you only had to ring the bell..... We loved the buddist chanting in the mornings... The place was soooo relaxing.. The view from the bathroom window was breathtaking..
