gorgeous apartments. convenient location to the cathedral although the local park was maybe a bit sketchy

the attic rooms were a bit hard to navigate for taller people but the living spaces were incredible.

The beds were comfortable and the french breakfast was good. The kitchen was also well equipped - Carrefour City is about 5 mins walk away so handy for supplies. The staff were very helpful in storing our luggage before we could check in to the apartment on the day of our arrival and the same after check out when we were leaving. Communication before and during our stay was very good. Just to point out that the twin room really is only for fairly young children as you have to climb up a big step and through a narrow doorway, the ceiling height is also low and there is only a curtain across the doorway - all ok for our 5 and 8yr olds but much older and they'd have struggled with head-bumping!

We stayed in the two bed family suite at the top of property (no. 6). The downside was that the apartment is only air-conditioned in the main bedroom so during a heatwave (it was 33 - 34C in the day) the rest of the apartment was absolutely sweltering. The air con unit was so noisy that we couldn't sleep with it on so we had very uncomfortable nights due to the heat.

Very nice space, offering 2 beds separated in distinct areas. Small kitchen space with all the necessary available. Well located, parking is covered and we left the car there past the checkout time (with the owners agreement) to easily stroll in Limoges. Breakfast served on the terrace when weather allows, or brought to your room (that was our case as it was a rainy day). Friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic stay with my family, really well equipped apartments with lots of thoughtful details. Excellent bedding and towel quality and really enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

This accommodation is poor & these are the main issues with it: It is located in an old, rundown area of Limoges where residents’ bins line the pavements, which is unsightly & unpleasant. The building is not secure so residents & their possessions are not safe. We were given a code to enter the building from the front which seemed ridiculous as the back of the building was open & could be entered by anyone. This is because the back of the property is accessed through a large garage which opens onto the pavement & is used by lots of different people. Once in the garage, you can walk into the back garden & into the house - all doors were kept wide open, including the garage door!! There is no lift in the building but it has lots & lots of stairs. We climbed 6 flights with our 20kg suitcase to reach our room. And if that wasn’t enough, there were more steps from the car park to the garden & even more through the garden to the house - they just went on & on. Needless to say, there is no disabled access & worryingly, there are no fire doors in the hallways & there are no fire exits either. The quality of service provided by D&D is also pretty grim. The heat in our room was stifling so the single fan was fairly ineffective. My request for another was met with irritation from the manager & I was told I would have to wait 2 hours for another!? Residents should also be aware that D&D do not accept guests before 5pm which is the latest check-in time I’ve ever encountered. If you need to get in before that you’ll have to pay an additional €20!? As for the parking, that’s also at a cost, so be prepared to fork out €10/day. Finally, the room was only ok - the drab, noisy floorboards & dark grey, ill-fitting curtains were a tad oppressive - not even the July sun couldn’t cheer it up.

Not much. The area of Limoges that it's in looks a bit rough on the surface, but the car was parked on the street overnight and we had no issues. A little bit too warm and a tiny bit of traffic noise, but no worse than anywhere else we stayed in France. The only thing missing from the kitchen was breakfast bowls for cereal.

modern apartment with characterful accessories in beautifully renovated town house. lovely little terrace to sit outside in a quiet area of Limoges. It was an easy walk to the covered Les Halles market and shops. Restaurants close by . Host was very friendly. Goid secure parking at the rear of the property. perfect for a short stay

Apartment no. 6, since it’s location directly under the roof, is not really suited for longer people. This was the/a family suite.

Lovely apartment in historic building. Were a little bit worried as other reviews said about noise but the windows are double glazed and we had no problems with noise at all. Great host and breakfast smelt lovely, we had declined it but regretted it once the smell of fresh bread and coffee wafted from the kitchen. Lovely little garden area at the back and the parking garage was safe and secure and full of history. Was an old garage and still has signs etc on show, would have loved to have some of the old fixtures for my man cave. Only used as a stop over going South but will definitely stay again and have the breakfast next time. Supermarket is 5 mins walk away and open until 9

We only stayed one night in the one bedroom apartment and enjoyed ourselves. The room was quaint and comfortable. With two kids in tow, we made use of the kitchen and didn't try the breakfast- although it looked wonderful. The staff was super friendly and we would definitely recommend this accommodation.

It was hot and there was only one fan available. Also, the neighbourhood was not the most welcoming, but we loved that we could park right in front of the place.

The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Unfortunately we arrived late and only stayed for one night, but had we have stayed longer the room was very well equipped and comfortable. The communication from the owner was also great and very helpful.

Breakfast was delivered to our apartment. It was a delicious French breakfast. It exceeded our expectations

A fantastic place, one we did not want to leave, we would normally have opted for a hotel, but with having a 3rd, family member meant we could spend the evening together in comfortable, warm surroundings. It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended and one we will return to.

When I arrived I had a huge bag and couldn't get into the building for a few hours so had to carry my case far away until I received a message with the code.

Everything was perfect. The apartment has a lot of space, is clean and very nice, has everything you can need. Marc, the host, is responsive and helpful. The lady is kind and always ready to help. The whole experience is of a rare kind and the price is convenient. what else?

A fly net screen on the upper windows could help to keep it open in warm nights.

Great location. Lovely friendly owner who went the extra mile for us. Nice size room and proper beds for the kids.

No air con so would not be great if very hot however there was a fan and they had very kindly opened windows to cool the room before we arrived.

The flat was comfortable and there was secure parking. We were able to watch the Womens Euros semi final on the TV!

It was a little bit far from the centre.
