The house was as advertised. In a great neighborhood and just an Uber away from the French Quarter. We enjoyed our relaxation in the pool during the day. Overall awesome experience!

We really enjoyed our stay and the house met all our needs. Typically I have trouble sleeping away from home but the beds were so comfortable that I fell asleep quickly. The hosts were very quick to respond to messages and had great suggestions for local eateries. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice area. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

My husband, mom, and a couple friends stayed here for jazz fest and had an ideal experience. The swimming pool was nice in the heat we aren't used to and the air conditioning inside was also quite nice. Host was very responsive though we did not have any real issues with this place. Highly recommend for a group looking to visit NOLA but have a peaceful place to stay at night.

Great rates, and within 20 minutes of everyplace. Quiet neighborhood. Worked well for our trip.

Perfect location for life long friends to reconnect. Only thing lacking was local Restaurants in the area.

House Was Perfect

The house is so inviting and clean. All necessities are available. The host was so kind and checked on us throughout our stay. It is a short drive to the French Quarter. If you are looking for some peace and quiet at night, and the feel of a comfortable home then this is the place for you.

We loved everything. It was super comfy. Mike was very pleasant and we enjoyed our conversation. Will definitely stay again.

Only issue is pool wasn't clean.

Pool is old & definitely needs a good deep cleaning. The first thing we noticed was the vacuum was in the pool but not doing anything. When reaching out to management/owners of this they advised it ran all night (it clearly did not) and told us to leave it in the pool. Why leave it floating around in the way with it not doing anything? The shower also needed a good deep clean. However, the bedding & kitchen seemed to have had the most attention and was well cleaned. We booked this property for the pool so that was a bit of a let down it itself. There is an attached unit to the property (description says owners stay there when in town). Turns out this is not true and it’s actually a rental. One evening we were relaxing in the pool when we noticed someone peeping through the fence at us then a few more times we saw someone peeping through the window of the attached unit at us. This made us extremely uncomfortable. When reaching out to the owners about this, they first argued and stated nobody was in the unit & they couldn’t do anything about someone looking through the fence. This was extremely concerning beings that you could clearly see people in the unit but they thought nobody should be there?! Turns out, the renter had returned sooner than expected. The owners first seemed to not want to do anything about this so we contacted VRBO who made things right. We checked out the next morning and stayed elsewhere for the remainder of the stay.

This house was perfect for our getaway to NOLA. We were only 10 minutes or so from the French Quarter and everything we wanted to do. The backyard is huge and inviting. Tha k you gor everything!

This was our first Vrbo and The owners Mike and Judy were so nice and there when we needed them. The house was clean and well equipped with towels , bedding , utensils etc… they even had pool towels for the pool. The pool was definitely a win for the kids because they didn’t leave it 🙂The neighborhood was nice,quiet, and safe. The house is about 20 minutes or so from burbon st, the French quarter , shopping etc…. There is nearby eats as well as a Walmart to stock up on groceries.

Mike was fantastic. Absolutly gorgeous place. Very clean and tidy. Stayed here with my wife and 4 other friends. Close to new orleans. I think we had more fun in the pool and just hanging out than anything else. This was an easy 5 star review. Would definitely recommend mike and his property to any of my family and friends.. we may just end up back here in the near future. Thanks for everything mike. And it was very nice to meet you.

House was perfect size for 4 people. Enjoyed the pool. Loved the updated kitchen. Literally 20-30 min from New Orleans. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

This property was well-equipped, clean, easy to access, and comfortable. The owners were welcoming and available, but never intrusive. Driving into downtown was easy and quick. The neighborhood was quiet (and nice for running), the pool was clean and the backyard was very spacious.

Could not have picked a better VRBO. Went to Nola to celebrate my girlfriends 35th Bday. 6 of us total went. I wanted a safe location but not too far from bourbon st/frenchman st etc. Also needed plenty of space as we knew we wouldn't be out and about every min of every day. This place covered all the bases and then some. Hosts were great at communicating as we actually sat and talked with them for a little bit to get all their local knowledge. House was spotless and all the beds were comfortable. Great place to just hang out and/or recover. Was way colder than expected so couldnt take advantage of the backyard but would be great to hang out back there in better weather. All in all we would totally stay here again whenever we make it back! Travel and vacation can be stressful and as soon as we got here it took away 99 percent of the stress! Thank you to our hosts yall were great!

Great landlords to work with.

You can’t beat escaping the heat after sight seeing in New Orleans and in 20 minutes be in a very comfortable, air conditioned three bedroom home where you can prepare a meal for the family while watching the kids play in the pool (kitchen overlooks the pool) and the enormous backyard with privacy fence. After the meal we could easily watch movies as a family, a great end to the day. As a frequent VRBO user I seek out owners who know what they are doing- and these people are it! We lacked for nothing in our stay and would absolutely stay again in future trips.

Great family rental. The attached unit was not a problem because it was empty which we were glad. It would be a little weird to have someone right next to you if you wanted privacy. Just ask if you are curious.

My family picked this property for a week long stay in New Orleans. The house was clean and well organized. It served as a very relaxing base of operations while we were in New Orleans. The owners were very communicative, responsive, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the pool during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils for the meals that we decided to eat at the house before or after venturing out to the sights in the heart of downtown. It was a quiet place to start our day and a refreshing place to come back to after being in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Almost everywhere we visited was within a 20 minute drive of the house which made it very convenient for planning our day. My family loved being here and we would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to plan a New Orleans getaway.

Check in process was easy, Mike and Judy were very friendly. The house is really nice with a spacious master bath and bedroom. The kitchen is nice and the appliances were up to date. The yard is huge, and the pool, oh the pool, it was amazing. Perfect for a swim to escape the Louisiana heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice, quiet, and clean place to stay while getting to know New Orleans. It took us about 20-30 minutes to get to the activities we enjoyed while there. I would not hesitate to return.

The place was perfect we had it for a whole week. Pool was great to have to cool off. Bbq was nice he just added before we came out. We had 8 people and could spread out. Plenty of stores/restaurants within a mile. Was easy going back and forth to bourbon street and downtown.
