First off, the view is Unbelievable! It takes your breath away. You literally feel like this house is the only house on the entire hill. Pictures of the house/view truly don't show you how amazing and jaw dropping the sights you'll see of the house and views as you step down the front stairs leading into the home. The entire property makes you feel as if you are staying in your own remote (even though you are within 10-15 minutes of anything you need) private resort, not just a home with a view. The koi ponds were beautiful and feeding the koi was a daily highlight for all of us in the morning and late afternoon. The house itself has everything you need and more. Check in before going to the store. All of the Welcome snacks provided definitely came in handy when we headed out for short excursions! The wedding we held for our daughter was spectacular, plenty of space and again the view, the home and the private countryside surrounding the home was amazing and blew all the guests' away. Vendors were familiar with the property and everything turned out perfect! The property manager Annie was so very nice, knowledgable about the island and helpful in so many ways (including before, during and after the wedding). Can't thank her enough, she definitely made our stay more comfortable!

I am not sure I will be able to capture everything that should be said about the property, our stay, the wedding, and Annie (the property manager). If you have any doubts on booking, do not hesitate. Everything you need is here along with things you didn’t know you’d need. I planned a small wedding (19 guests) without a planner and still felt relaxed. My mother in law made the best pizzas here, our families stayed comfortably in the three separate but close buildings, and we had a luau that was spectacular. The referrals for food, flowers, and entertainment from the property after booking are spot on. Annie’s calm and nurturing presence cannot be overlooked. She’s such a special person to the property and made the stay so very smooth. It was the best day of my life, and I was depressed leaving even though we were on our way to the Four Seasons. 10/5 stars !

Our stay and wedding at Hale Wailele was phenomenal. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our special day. Annie the property manager was amazing! She went above and beyond our expectations. Annie made sure to carve out time for us to walkthrough the property on several occasions so that we could plan the layout of our wedding. She answered all questions and was so helpful with suggestions for executing a beautiful wedding. The estate is breathtaking! The pictures just don’t capture the beauty that surrounds you from the moment you walk through the doors. The decor is tasteful, beautiful, and quality. We would recommend this estate to everyone and will return!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Hale Wailele. The booking process was super easy. We sent a message to Karen and she replied quickly. She answered any questions that we had and we booked the place! The pictures do not do this place justice! I loved waking up to a view and just sitting out on the pool chair or the rocking chair. Our families also loved the place. Everyone told us it was so beautiful. We were able to use all the amenities, the pool, the bbq, the pizza oven, etc. Throughout our stay, Annie was very helpful in answering any questions we had about the property. Our only regret is that we did not book more time here!

We were lucky enough to snag a cancellation at this property and from the minute we booked until the day we checked out everything was amazing. A week after we booked our reservation, We received a package in the mail with flyers and different recommendations of things we can do on our stay. It helped us book some of our excursions prior to arriving. Upon arriving the house was stocked with a lot of the essentials, which was a pleasant surprise and I am not sure how but the home/ property was even better than we ever imagined. There was even little gift for my boys in their room which they absolutely loved! The view was breath taking and the home had everything we needed to cook with (as well as entertain) AND all the essentials needed to go to the beach! My kids (and husband) LOVED feeding time for the Fish every day, so much that I am surprised they haven’t asked us to put one in our home! As a family we typically book through VRBO several times a year because with such a large family (there is 7 of us) hotels usually aren’t very enjoyable. This trip was one of our all time best vacations and a lot of it was due to this property (including the owner & property manager). If you have the opportunity to book this home/ property definitely don’t let it pass you by! We will definitely be back next time we visit the big island!

This was a bucket list trip two years in the making to bring children and grandchildren to the state where my husband was born and to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It is a vacation none of us will ever forget and the memories made will last a lifetime. The layout of the house allows for total privacy to sleep and amazing open floor plan for family time. Our top ten things we love about Hale Wailele: 1. The beautiful koi fish ponds and lush gardens inside the home. 2. A/C in every bedroom, extremely comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. 3. The open-air bar outside- might be the most comfortable chairs we have ever sat on and allowed us to root on our hometown teams and granddaughters to watch cartoons on the big screen. 4. They thought of everything – beach gear, corn hole, yoga mats, pool floaties, games, books and the list goes on. 5. Martha, with Big Island Chef, delivered an amazing meal. Be sure to get the ahi tuna appetizer and the Macadamia nut caramel dessert. 6. Star gazing at night in the chaise loungers with all the lights off. 7. Hale Wailele is close to beaches, airport, shops and excursions. 8. All of the amazing sounds of nature . . . and even the rooster that kept us up at night LOL! 9 The pool, hot tub and lanai are so relaxing. 10. A huge shout out to Annie the caretaker extraordinaire. Always promptly answered our request and gave wonderful suggestions. Even brought in a toddler bed with Moana bedding that my granddaughter loved, high chair and anything else we requested. We had booked this property for 10 days as my husband was competing in the Ironman 2020. Alas, the race was cancelled due to covid and the owners were kind enough to offer us a refund or to rebook. We decided to rebook for October 2021 in the hopes that the race would be able to be held. Unfortunately, the race was cancelled again. We decided to go to Kona anyway and are so glad that we did! The house was a perfect location on the island. A quick drive into Kona, the grocery store, etc. but you really feel like you are at an oasis when sitting by the pool. Our children loved feeding the fish and all of the snacks that were left for us. We really enjoyed the wine! The owners hooked us up with a private chef, who made us an amazing dinner. Overall, our stay couldn't have been better. We were definitely sad to leave but have already booked to come back next year! Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted to get married in Hawaii. He did a Google search and found Hale Wailele. The moment he saw it he knew it was the right place, the he showed it to me and I agreed. We read through the reviews, looked through the photos, and booked the place. Even though I looked at the photos countless times, nothing can prepare you for experiencing in real life. It is absolutely exquisite. Every detail. No matter where you look, your view is BEAUTIFUL. There's the most delicious breeze always wafting through the grounds, even on a warm day it feels invigorating. I could wax poetic about Hale Wailele for days - all of our wedding guests continue to rave about our wedding (which was a month ago now). It was the most incredible wedding venue imaginable, and it was an added bonus that we got to stay there for five nights. Many of our wedding guests hope to book a stay at Hale Wailele for vacation someday. I hope we will return someday too. The venue is incredible, no doubt about it and I also want to mention Annie. Annie is the property manager of Hale Wailele and without her, we could never have pulled off our wedding. I talked to her on the phone many times throughout the year of planning, and she was able to help me solve problems, find vendors, make plans, and just answer any possible question I had. She went above and beyond. Because of her, our wedding went off without a hitch. She even helped us out on our actual wedding day which was HUGELY helpful. She took some awesome photos to make sure I had some while waiting for our photographer to send them over. Annie is incredibly thoughtful, she is a gem and between the venue and Annie, you will be set for the vacation and/or event of your life. Aloha! We decided to book Hale Wailele for our 50 person wedding. We have searched for over a year for our perfect location, and this home exceeded our expectations. From before our vacation started, the communication was amazing. Very flexible, helpful, knowledgeable, and detailed. I sent many emails as planning a wedding with multiple vendors can be tricky, and all were replied to quickly. When we arrived on property with our friends, our breath was taken away by not only the exquisite architecture and stunning views, but also my the welcome amenities, decorations, greenery and all the details. The house is paradise and you instantly relax. Every room is gorgeous and spacious. All of our family and friends were in awe of Hale Wailele. To have the privacy with those grounds and amenities is hard to find. It was the most memorable week! And the property manager went above and beyond, always able to answer any question I had right away, she is amazing! She is a huge part of making your stay go perfect. Thank you Hale Wailele for everything! We will be back.
