Il nostro soggiorno a Casa Gloria è stato ottimo!! Per noi che viaggiavamo in auto, la signora Gloria, gentilissima e disponibile, ci ha permesso di parcheggiare l'auto dentro al suo cortile. L'alloggio è dotato di tutto il necessario ed era molto pulito.

A wonderful lady welcomed me and made me feel at home after a hard day's walking. Highly recommended.

The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were comfortable. We received a message with a description how to get there.

Our room had a window to the aisle of the apartment, but none to the outside. Therefore it was really dark and everybody in the apartment could have looked inside the room. The ceiling is very low, because the whole apartment is inside the basement of the building. We had a bathroom in common with one other guest, but we didn't see her. So, no problem. The hotel is a bit hard to find, as there is no sign at the house itself and it's located in a narrow street, in which it's hard to imagine there is a hotel at all. There was a huge holiday in the same town, which I didn't know when I booked the room. Therefore the prices in general were higher during the event and I expected a bit more comfort for the price. But of course, that was my mistake.

Cecelia was incredibly helpful and informative - transporting me into town, making stops at the supermarket etc. Place feels homey and welcoming.

Location - it is about 15 min outside of Tomar city centre - this is not a problem if you have a car though (I was on foot) but they were helpful with lifts into town.

Gloria was extremely helpful, sweet and kind. She welcomed us with open arms and everything at the guesthouse was clean and as described.

The location is very very remote, and sometimes taxi is impossible to find from Tomar to casa Gloria. I would recommend this accommodation only if you have your own car. The walk to Tomar is about 1 hour.
