Located in a quiet neighbourhood, quite clean and easy check-in. Lots of space in the apartment.

Very weird room setup - there's a huge open space which can't be used for anything, meanwhile the bedroom feels like a cave and the bathroom is *tiny*. It could also really use some better lighting and touched up in terms of furniture and decorations.

Attractive, quiet neighborhood. Private entrance and separate space. Very clean. Good communication with owner.

In future I would probably stay near monuments and museums.

I liked the cozy comfortable environment.

I paid a $100 security deposit, which was needed to confirm the property. I received no communication from the property manager before this, and after leaving the property, I never heard back nor received the security deposit back. It has been over 2 months and nothing has changed, I have not been refunded this amount, nor informed why this is the case. Very disappointed with this experience.

It was very close to what we needed to see and do. It was cozy and warm even in 8-degree winter weather. The bed was great. The shower was hot.

My husband and I are in our 70s and the floor was uneven so we had to be especially careful when walking around. This would not be an issue for others.

We stayed three nights and spent one day just recuperating from the travels we had done. For dinner we had to drive a bit, but that was our choice. We had a private residence, a very clean place with a comfy bed, TV, a quiet backyard. We did enjoy staying at Woody Westover in Hillcrest, DC.

We missed a microwave and public transport close by. Apart from that we had no complaints. We had clear instructions on all the do and don't do's and avoided anything that could jeopardise our security bond.

It is a wonderful space and location. Always a favorite place to stay. Clean, spacious, and a great view. Host is helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.

The view was amazing. we could see the city from the home. we like how we entered the unit. it was private. Owner was pleasant and it was a quiet neighborhood. The location was great too

The driveway once entered went off into a narrow decline. we recommend parking at the top of the driveway for better access to your car.

Woody Westover has a really good location just minutes off 295, the 36 Bus stopping at the bottom of the hill is handy to reach the U.S. Capitol, and the house itself is a classic pre-war stone home with a really lush garden that almost entirely obscures the view of Capitol Hill. Staying here you’re in the city yet feel like you’re miles away. I found the place quite charming. 80s-era bath fittings = cool. Bed = very comfortable. Selection of books = something for everyone. Finally, felt really secure there, taking off-street parking and everything else into account. A great value.

There is space for just a liiiiittle more furniture, or perhaps for an upgrade or two (desk chair maybe, or a really nice easy chair to put by the fireplace / library). With any of those, I could’ve been happy to spend a quiet afternoon reading / working from “home office” without ever leaving. That’s my best suggestion.

Wonderful property with offstreet parking and a wonderful view. Enjoyed sitting outside as the sun went down. Plenty of space. Comfortable bed, and all the amenities you need. Definitely recommend and would gladly stay here again.

The location was perfect for my stay. I loved the scenery and my room. Everything was clean and nice. Communication with the host was easy. Host was very nice and thoughtful. I will definitely come back and recommend to the other guests.

It’s beautiful, and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in my life. It’s convenient to get to Capitol Hill with just a single, direct bus ride. Comfortable bed, and VERY spacious. It feels very peaceful.

it was beautiful it was relaxing.. I wish had a chair that I could just sit down and look at the scenery. Because of scenery was so beautiful, you can see the city, helicopters and sky (The temperature was wonderful).. The room was clean.. The owner is really nice..

Owner of the place was really nice and helpful, even tho I never met her once personally. Which is a good thing during those COVID times because she made everything possible without meeting.

The place was comfortable and very well located for a very reasonable price. The suite is large and in front of the garden. I could park in the driveway. The neighborhood was charming. The host was very responsive and helpful. I recommend people to stay here.

I had an excellent experience staying there for a night. The house is really well situated, with a beautiful view on Washington. The room is clean, comfortable, and spacious. I would definitely go there again if passing by Washington.
