The usual: good location by the Duisburg station, very clean & practical rooms, nice design in the rooms -the big Duisburg map on the wall above the bed is pretty cool :-)

Staff at check-in at 23:00 was not super-friendly and not able / willing to give useful info about parking possibilities (I found out myself that the closest Parkhaus is on the other side of the station, a 5 minutes walk. But at night, due to the proximity of the train station, the area is a bit dodgy. One can try to find a space on the street by the hotel though, it's all a bit "sort it out yourself")

The staff were very rude, we were three with a child given a small room with two pillows they refuse to give extra ones just one extra where we were already three !!! I phoned the reception asking for adapter the guy on the phone very rude he hanged up and told me to come down to take one when went down he said I didn’t tell you we have any and I don’t know who answered you ! It doesn’t worth the money the room is small, cold, no fan extraction in the bathroom

clean, comfortable and excellent location

very good location right opposite the station and a short walk from tram stops. ten minute walk to city centre with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, Reception staff helpful and knowledgeable about local area. Good breakfast buffet

After a smooth check-in, We took the lift to see our room, only to discover there was no provision for a child bed or sofa bed in our room. We had booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. On returning to the reception to see if this could be rectified, we were bombarded with what I could only describe as blah blah, no sympathy, no attempt to help us with the problem, only to be told that we should have contacted the hotel in advance to tell them that we required a child bed. There was no way all three of us could sleep in the double bed, so we looked for a new hotel nearby. I've stayed at Hotels all over the world and when I book a hotel stating there is a child, I have never followed it up to make sure there is a bed for my child.

The lobby space and staff in the lobby were exceptionally helpful

A minor complaint, but I would have preferred bar soap than the body wash in a bottle.

room was clean

we stopped at the hotel to rest during a long travel and then continue. we were not informed at check in that there was a big party so there will be loud music all night and no chance of getting anything to eat. we left more tired than we came. and the response from the staff was very professional: we can’t do anything about it. this was not our first stay at the hotel but for sure was the last.

There were no toothbrushes and toothpaste.
