Amazing experience! I would even say that its the best place I've stayed outside cities. Wineyards, nature, animals - extremely beautiful and peaceful. Host created scenic and dreamlike space for living and guests, i wish i will have such place for living in my older years ☺️
Apartment itself was clean and comfortable, no doubts. Definitely recommend this one if you're lucky to find it available 😉

We loved watching the Zebra, wildebeest, springbok and nyala as well as all the birds from our large balcony. We could sleep with our curtains open and see the animals up close from our verandah. No one bothered us there so we had the place to ourselves very private.

The view was wonderful, the room was great and the peace and quiet was just what was needed. Loved it.

The view of the meadow with wild life is amazing and we were also pleasantly surprised with the electric blanket (it was a bit cold during our stay).
We would have liked the wine tasting, but it happened to be reserved for a private group on that day.

The view of the game from the stoep was amazing. Tea, coffee & rusks supplied as well as all the bathroom extras.

The interior is beautifully decorated with complementary colours.
It's open and spacious with a beautiful view of mountains and wildlife.
Very relaxed, friendly staff and clean.
Definitely a place where you'd like to stay longer than just one night.

we had such a lovely stay at the Retreat. You can watch the animals directly from bed and we had encounters with the dogs and cats from the owners. also the wine is extremely good. we had a great tasting at Remhoogte with six incredible good wines with an even better view from the terrace. The best start in South Africa!

Minor issues with the remote controls (it was replaced) at the entrance gate ... but these were speedily replaced and a backup passcode was supplied.

Quiet and super clean we did the wine tasting on the farm and the flatbread was to die for .

Perfect for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle.
The kitchen could do with at least a two plate stove. We had bad weather, and had to leave to get takeout/hot meals.

The view was fantastic. The room had everything you need, there was even a gas braai to use. Wish I could go back today.
