Very peaceful place to get away to good for any age

This cottage was very clean and had a nice kitchen. Nice deck to sit and relax. Pretty view behind the cottage and big shade tree to sit under. The host was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze! No problems at all at this location. Loved the deep kitchen sink. This cottage was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved The Cottage! It was perfect for our family! Joanna and Duck were so sweet and very responsive. The house was stocked with everything you would need!

Enjoyed our stay. Pet friendly. Owners next door. They were very helpful and friendly. Convenient location. Cottage kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lakefront cottage! It was spacious and roomy and had all the amenities of home and then some! The cottage was spotlessly clean inside which is something I am super picky about. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially with the big full Strawberry moon rising above the trees.The hosts were very gracious and friendly as well. We had a wonderful time!

It was perfect for us

Access to the lake to take our raft out and fish. The home was great and had everything we needed. The pier was nice and also fished from. Nice location close to shopping and restaurants.

We live this property and the hosts. I have to give this place a huge thumbs up! We’ve been staying at this same house for several years and won’t stay any where else.

Loved our stay. It is a lovely property. It was very clean. Lots of nice touches to make it feel special. It had everything we needed. Communication was fast and easy. I hope to stay again next year if we go back to Guntersville.

Absolutely the best people. Her whole family is great. But not only that the people in the town are so very nice.

The rental was so clean we were comfortable as soon as we walked in! It is in a very convenient location but tucked away from traffic congestion. We would stay here again.

My teen daughter and I had plans to rent watercraft over Fall break at Lake Guntersville, so we needed a place to stay. We love how everywhere we wanted to go - marina, grocery store, restaurants, were 4-6 minutes away. Yet while we were at the cottage we felt secluded. The huge "back yard" that leads to the lake was so relaxing. We saw so much wildlife. Owl, woodpecker, killdeer, herons, falcon and possibly a bald Eagle. Eastern bluebirds. The cottage had a pair of binoculars that we took outside and we sat there for hours to relax after an adventurous day on the lake. We did not bring any watercraft to the cottage. The water is shallow behind the house. But we LOVED the views. We used the fire pit each night and told stories and roasted marshmallows. We didn't use the grill, but we might if we come back in the future. The cottage was very clean and cozy. There was nothing we wished we had that was lacking. And JoAnna is the best! She was so welcoming and sweet. She was happy to answer any question we had. Staying at the cottage reminded me a little of staying at "grandma's cabin". It's not filled with modern furnishings (but it has the important stuff like TV and Wi-Fi) but it makes but for it in clean, cozy, and comfortable. We plan to come back!

Property was as described and more. Our family went to celebrate and fish. Our son caught 3 nice bass off the dock. Home away from home location. Nice large deck, shaded by large tree with great view of the water. Very relaxing. Owner was great to work with. Cannot go wrong with a trip to the Cottage! We will definitely be back. Thank so much Mrs. JoAnna for all the fun memories.

I loved this place!! As well as my German Shepherd did. The deck and porch have “baby gates” at each end, which is great for children and pets. Joanna was awesome! The home is roomy, kitchen well equipped, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. The view was perfect. I will be going back to the Cottage. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to be. Everything is convenient yet you feel miles away from everything.

Had trouble identifying where to park, find lockbox etc. After that everything was wonderful. excellent bed and outstanding kitchen. hard to find 3 prong outlet for computer, but there was one in every room. Wifi outstanding.

The perfect getaway for my birthday! Everything was perfect! Highly recommended. We will return!

We enjoyed the stay. The outside deck was a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The kitchen was well stocked; the bathrooms were nice with lots of places for storing toiletries. We enjoyed an amazing sunrise over the edge of the lake, and saw some herons, a flock of geese, and some other interesting birds. I highly recommend to rental.

We’ve stayed at the Cottage multiple times over the past few years and have yet to be disappointed! The owner has always been exceptionally helpful and reachable with any questions that we’ve had. We will definitely be back and would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

It could use some updating bigger beds nicer appliances but it was still nice just a few minutes from downtown plenty of places to eat we enjoyed ourselves

Clean, cool, quiet & comfortable, pet friendly. We appreciate the owners welcoming Katie, our lab. We had a few non- working issues, but the owner was quick to respond. Enjoyed meals at Top of the River & PaPa Dubi's in Albertville. Excellent seafood!
