An outstanding location with beautiful cabins, both externally and internally. You feel looked after the whole time, and totally spoilt at breakfast time with fresh eggs, pancakes, amazing still warm bread etc.
The best part was just relaxing and watching nature (deer, hares…).
I guess washing dishes outdoors under the rain was a bit challenging, but it’s a small price to pay to respect such high standards of sustainability.

Fabulous location and delicous breakfast delivered each morning and being able to cook it outdoors was added bonus . Glamping with your own private bathroom was brilliant . We enjoyed but i think the dogs enjoyed our stay even more .
Having to go home and not spend another night .

My experience at Nire Valley Eco Camp was amazing!!
The cabins are very homly and cosy. They are in beautiful fields surrounded by wildlife. You might even spot some deer. The shower and bathroom is great as well.
You also have some cookware with a gas hob. This is for the amazing breakfast you get every morning. We got fresh bread, smoked salmon and got to make our own pancakes!!
The scenery around Nire valley is amazing and there is so much to do from the copper coast to the mahon falls.
Lastly Ruth is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She will answer any questions you may have and is very accommodating if you need anything. Also her dogs are lovely as well.
Not one bad word about Nire Valley Eco Camp. Could not get any better.
Extremely recommended!

If you plan to visit Ireland and you want to see the nature, enjoy the quietness / peacefulness - this is the place you will be looking. It is minimalistic, but at the same time, everything you need, is there. Cooking is outside - but even if it rains, there is a roof still protecting you and the food. And what a lovely breakfast the host served us - just wonderful. All natural and/or homemade - and freshly baked bread oven warm! - in how many places can you get something like this?!

Enjoyed the beautiful views.
Bathroom & cooking facilities outside the cabin. Not ideal on a wet and windy November day! can imagine in Summer this would not be an inconvenience at all.

Our own tiny house in a meadow with wild hedges all around filled with birds and wildlife. What else could one ask for? Breakfast delivered in a basket every morning? Of course! Comfortable beds with a picture window looking out over the meadow? Privacy? Yes, all these, too!
I have to admit that navigating to Nire Valley was interesting the first time… it is off the beaten track (all our other accommodations had been in towns during our trip), but once we arrived, it was perfect! Follow the directions they give you, not Google maps! :)

First of all, Ruth is an amazing host. She is so friendly, welcoming and not to forget Milo, such a sweetie. If you are into sustainable living and the outdoors, this is the place for you. The place is simply magical, so connected to nature and wild life. The cabin is super cosy, well insulated and bed very comfy. If you get a clear night, the sky is magical and chance to see shooting stars. Breakfast was a hit. Everything was thought of and so cute in a lovely basket. Will definitely recommend and will go again for another relaxing getaway.

We have stayed in Nire valley Eco Camp a number of times now with our dog Lucy and have had an excellent experience each time. It is a great place to relax and rewind for a few days. Ruth's homemade bread for breakfast is definitely one of the highlights! Ruth and Paul are so friendly and helpful and we love that the cabins are dog friendly too. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely location, deer and rabbits right beside the cabin. Views were wonderful, very relaxing. Ruth gave great breakfast baskets. Couldn't recommend it more.
Narrow roads leading to site but that is to be expected.

A unique experience, surrounded by nature and loads of space to roam. Ruth (and Milo) was a fantastic host and was very helpful in sharing tips and walking/hiking routes. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and you would have the space to cook as well. The cabin and its amenities were clean and very comfortable. Will be back the next time!
