A fairly new hotel with spacious and modern rooms. The underground parking is an excellent amenity. Close to restaurants and a Whole Foods, as well as easy access to Universal.

Size of the room, the safe, cruelty-free products, location, friendly staff. UPDATE: I also sent a review to the hotel, directly, and was contacted by the manager, who responded to each of my issues, assuring me that they would be taken into consideration. It did not feel like she/he was brushing me off. I feel confident that they will improve on at least several of my concerns, and the hotel will develop into providing a better and more comfortable stay.

No drawers in the room!!! Lights above bed too harsh, and we had to get out of bed to turn them off (= no bedside lamps). Housekeeping neglected to clean our room one day, and did not change sheets on another. Shoddy restocking. Paid bakery goods for breakfast. The whole experience felt a little on the cheap side. Underwhelming. With a little retooling, it might be a good hotel.

Le parking payant (25$) mais possibilité de se garer dans la rue. Pas d’insécurité. Payant de 8h à 18h avec 1h gratuite dans la journée.

층간 소음이 좀 있어요. 저희가 머물당시 윗 객실에서쿵쿵거리며 걷는 소리에 신경이 좀 거슬렸어요.

I’m a big traveler and I rarely leave negative reviews like I am now. Very bad experience with this hotel and I’m in the process of a dispute to get my money back. There’s so many other great hotels in the area. Stay far away from Hotel Mariposa!

Location is convenient, hotel is extremely comfy, staff is the best and the hot tub is amazing.

Some towels were stained (but not dirty) and there is no microwave in the room.

The hotel was close to universal and restaurants, beds were comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

Access from garage isn’t secure enough for me.

The staff was friendly, property clean & quiet. Whole foods store and convenience store and gas station close by (within the same block). Full-size restaurant across the street with a little taco stand right around the corner.

Polite, friendly staff. Were able to intercede on our behalf to settle an issue with noisy neighbors in room above ours.

This is the 1st time we have stayed here. We were going to Universal Studios, and it's very close by, only 4.9 miles. The area is very quiet, clean, and close to alot of must see places. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. We got 2 rooms and the Staff came in daily to do the beds and place clean towels. We will definitely be staying here again.

I think for the price of the rooms they should include the parking fee, it's a $25 a night price.

I had nothing but good things to say about this place till the checkout. House keeping obnoxiously banging on your door, few minutes later a man knocks and then proceeds to open the door and walk into my room, couldn’t because of the safety bar on the door. House keeping again knocking literally 5 minutes after this man, then front desk calls to literally tell me to get out or she will charge me more, your hotel had no guests in it, literally no one in your parking, no one you could see in the lounge/breakfast area/pool, literally no one at your facility, I checked in for just one day, at around 8pm, I was there with my 4 year old daughter, I told them the first time that we were leaving to give us a few minutes as I’m trying to get my daughter ready. I’m sorry but you guys are ridiculous, you lack basic decency. I can understand that you were busy and you needed the room for other guests. The behavior of the staff was not only unprofessional but downright ridiculous. There’s a reason you have no business.

Everything! Beds were so comfortable, the rooms were very clean, and the location was perfect for our trip. The hotel is very modern for the area, and we enjoyed their open outdoor patio.

Property had underground parking.

Arrived at the property at noon and eventhough there was a room available there was a charge of $50 to check in 1 hour early. On top of that there was a charged $25 to park my car. Lastly, the property did not have a pool (just a hot tub).

Exceeded my expectations above and beyond. Such a beautiful property. We enjoyed the warm cookies and bags of lavender in the left for guests that were so cutely set out on the hallways tables. The rooms are clean, new, very comfy, spacious and smell great. The Lounge and outside seating area is perfect I love how they open the retractable glass walls to combined both areas. The parking is sufficient and secure. Location a perfect right off the freeway and has a delicious restaurant across the street. Will absolutely stay here again.
