The location is great. It's centrally located to the Leon Cathedral and all the pedestrian areas. I was walking the Camino de Santiago so it was convenient to be close to things that we could access on foot.

There was no ventilation in the rooms and it was hot, stuffy, and humid to the point that i couldn't sleep. I think someone at night messed with the thermostat and cranked it all the way up because it was miserably hot. The bathrooms were not very private and there wasn't a dry spot to put anything down in. The bathroom wasn't unbelievably clean either and this hostel was pricey compared to many of the albergues I had stayed in until this point. Someone took my shoes out of the shoe cabinet and left similar ones that were a size smaller, so this colored my perception of this hostel as well.

Toilet floor floods from showers not draining fast enough in main bathroom so you have to watch your trousers if your using the toilet the cleaner toilet by the kitchen is better once i discovered it

It was so close to the cathedral and points of interest.

It was quite dirty in the bathrooms, sleeping areas, and kitchen. The showers could have used some bleach to get rid of mold. The kitchen sink had food in the drain. Toilet paper wasn’t properly put in dispensers and there wasn’t much soap provided in all bathroom sink areas.

Location and the fact that it had a female-only room

No kettle to boil water for a cup of tea, this should be available in a kitchen for all to use. No windows to open for fresh air, as there where so many sick pilgrims at this albergue it was a concern there is no fresh air circulating this building.

The location is great but have in mind the noise in the central location! Bed was comfortable, clean towel, shower gel.

Wi-Fi didn’t work. I found a dirty not washed sheet cover … had to close windows because of the noise in the bars.

Location and cleanliness of the hostel were good.

However, the outside wall is shared with a bar, and it was very loud all night. Not good for two pilgrims wanting to walk 22k the next day. Neither of us slept more than a few hours. Ended up leaving at 4am, since we weren't sleeping anyway, and the noise was still going outside.

the sleeping pods were very comfortable, great idea to have individual light and charging station in your pod. good spacious communal area.

I stayed in the hostel 3 days and was not able to have a hot shower once. The water was lukewarm at best. I complained and they said there was a problem with the boiler which never got properly fixed during my stay. Very poor customer service from the Albany. Bad smell in the ladies because they leave the mop buckets in there.

Staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. They seemed like they didn't give a crap. No reception most of the time. Zero social vibe. This hostel was just old people walking the trail. And also a little pricey.
