The building is located in front of the beach & the apartment has beach view which is fantastic. We enjoy keeping the balcony sliding glass doors opened and the pool in the evenings.

The laundry room didn’t have detergent and there was no dishwashing soap for the dishes.

Thanks Booking.com to the rescue due to a last minute cancellation from my airbnb host. Hostress Maria is a sweetheart, she came from far away to hand me over the keys to the apartment, and attentive to all my questions/request during my stay. We used google translate to communicate just fine. The cooking ware frying pans and different size of pots are a great asset, I was able to live like a local to cook dinners. The air conditioning in the bedroom works well and quiet. The apartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms and a big living/dinning room. The view to the sea, the skyline of bocagrande and the old town from afar is amazing.

It needs some upkeep work to maintain the apartment in a good state. 1. The advertized in room safe is non-existent. 2. The air conditioner in the living/dinning room didn't work, the maintenance crew worked 3 days (out of 4 days I stayed) to find the problem and install a new one. 3. One of the bathroom doors doesn't have a door knob, I was locked from outside once and then inside again (that's the scrariest part because I had no tools to open it and could have ended up being stuck in the bathroom for that night!) 4. There are two blinds don't roll at all, I eventually pull it completely down and left it that way. 5. There is no hand soap any where. In order to wash my hands I had to go to the supermarket to buy one, this is not acceptable. 6. The industry norm, even in airbnb, is that the host has salt in the kitchen, so you have the very basic covered, this apartment doesn't. 7. Although the cooking wares are sufficient, some have very bad scratches, there is need to replace them, otherwise you feel like you are cooking with exposed chemicals. 8. There is a very weird policy in the building, no noe is allowed to walk topless in common area, even if your attention is just to walk across the street to the beach and swim. What's the big deal, is this a church? I found it ridiculous.

I lose my phone and my credit card. staff wasn’t helpful I lose everything inside the rental apartment and they also used my credit card within the facility! theft!
