Its a heritage building belonging to some ancient family. The location is exceptional as its next to Ganga ji and has a small private ghat . I spent more time on the ghat than my room. :) . They have a small courtyard that is also amazing. I will stay here again in my next visit. Staff is very helpful and polite. Its a wonderful and secure place for female solo travelers.

The host are just amazing. Super helpful and accommodative. The food served is delicious. The property is exactly as the picture describes.

The entrance to the property is unclean and smelly as the roads are narrow and unclean. As it is a very old property (2nd property in entire Haridwar), some of the electrical appliances are not working. The car park is about 1 km from the property which you need to walk or take a cycle rickshaw which is a hassle.

Nothing as such to mention

It was in a lovely location. Right in the heart but felt tucked away. I lovely the private ghat. We loved our room and enjoyed our time there.

Some hooligans tried to claim our room. We arrived and didn’t deserve the stress of “do I have my room.” These village (personality) people were claiming first come first serve (a mother and her big mouth daughter). You know, those people that don’t prebook and come with everyone but perhaps claimed one room. Then, they lied and said they booked ages ago. I wish my brother and I were reassured at the onset - instead we were sat there (it’s not an easy place to reach initially when u don’t know where to go) feeling nervous if we need to look for a new place. The hooligans even asked to see my proof of evidence - I was like I don’t need to prove anything to you. Once it was confirmed it was great - but no one that has booked should go through that.

ROOM ON THE BANKS OF THE RIVER

Roads leading to the hotel are bad and no vehicle is allowed near the hotel. Further, there are no arrangements to pick up, drop and carrying the Luggage to the hotel (Around 2-3 kms)

Except it's location everything was fantastic. My stay in this property was fabulous👌👌👌👌

it is a wonderful old house, renewed and very well maintained. Very clean. Close to the main Ghats. They have their own little ghat. The guest house is under a wonderful giant Banyan tree.

Some noise from a water pump (I guess) from time to time. But it was not a problem.
