Lagoon view villa was everything promised in the descriptions. Two bed rooms with double beds and bath rooms, big kitchen, and a big terrace with great views and abundant vegetation (and nice birds). Really silent and relaxing neighborhood. Very nice beach quite close as well as opportunity to mountain climbing which was highly appreciated :). Washing machine was a nice plus. We did not have any issues with mosquitos as we closed the doors after sunset. We surely enjoyed our staying!

These are not really complaints but just notes. Villa can accommodate maximum of 5 persons but the sofa is not very comfortable and there is no air conditioning in the living room. Road to the property is partly in a quite bad condition so needs careful driving as does the parking. Only one restaurant nearby but others in 10 mins drive in the village where also well-equipped supermarket is located.

No dislikes but be aware that you need a car. 10 min drive to supermarkedet and beaches

I really enjoyed the view from the terrace, specially at breakfast. The view from the jacuzzi is amazing. The place is so quiet and peaceful. You can only hear birds songs. There are a lot of places to explore in the surroundings and a variety of activities like dolphin swim, kitesurfing, hiking leMorne mountain, snorkeling. The host is very nice mauritian/island girl and she gives very useful tips.

Very nice host, providing useful insights regarding the surroundings, foodie places and must do activities. The Island View Studio is perfect with a private jacuzzi having the best view on the lagoon. Definitely recommend, specially if you enjoy outdoor living.

The view from the Villa is absolutely stunning. The area is peaceful and the location is fabulous if you want to discover the southern part of the island (Le Morne, Chamarel, Flic en Flac, Tamarin, Georges National Park etc). We booked just a few nights here at Kozy before heading up north and this was a terrible idea - we should have stayed our whole trip here! Just a few minutes by car from the nicest (IMO) beach (Le Morne Beach at the Dunrobin Resort), Le Morne Brabant trail entrance, kitesurfing lagoon and more. The villa is super clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped so you can easily cook your own meals especially with a big supermarket in the neighboring village of La Gaulette, but if you want to eat out, there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood as well (however nothing beats the breakfast on the deck with the lagoon view and friendly birds coming to say hi). Ornella (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful every step of the way, always happy to give recommendations and ensure the stay is pleasant. WiFi was very fast which was great, if you are on the home office. The pool was well maintained, perfect for an early morning or a sunset dip with a glass of wine. The stay at Kozy exceeded our expectations and we will definitely recommend it to friends and family should they ever go to Mauritius. Thank you for everything, Kozy!

Everything was perfect and I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Friendly advice though - make sure to close the windows in the evening before turning the lights on in the house - geckos just wait to come in lol! Also, there are steep steps to get down to the villa, so if you have trouble going up and down the stairs this may not be a great option for you and I do recommend renting a car given the villa is located on the side of the mountain. Pack lightly!

Host was amazing: very friendly and helpful in answering queries. Made us Ti Punch one evening and had a nice chat which was very nice and great to learn more about Mauritius. Jacuzzi and decking area overlooking the sea and islands was fantastic and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Very nice restaurant walking distance.

Very very minor point but only one stove available for cooking. Would have been useful to have a second.

The location was very peaceful and not as touristy as Le Morne on average. We had really nice views to the sea. The tiny apartment was very cozy and clean.

We didn't quite know how / where to pick up the keys so we had to wait in pouring rain with our luggage for some time. The hotel didn't have breakfast, but luckily there was a nice restaurant just a couple of minutes by foot. If you stay here, we recommend that you have a car or scooter to get around. Also, it's good to know that the closest grocery store is about 6 km away in La Gaulette. We didn't even find a kiosk to buy water from in Le Morne, at least not in the evening.

Kozy is like your little place where you can feel at home away from home. Have breakfast with an amazing view and you can go out and enjoy the many activities in the region.
