First room (8) used for one night which required much stair climbing but replaced by room (1) on lower level and facilities were much better with walk-in shower for us elderly visitors. Meals were good and of generous portions. Plenty of secure parking close to hotel and alternative restaurants were close by for longer stays.

The hotel was very homely, the staff very welcoming and the breakfast not expected but pleasantly surprised to be offered eggs benedict. Amazing place, can't wait to return.

READ THE FINE PRINT! they have a live band in the bar until 11.30pm on a Saturday night and the bar closes at 1pm, my room (4) overlooked the outdoor drinking area - very noisy!! I had had a long journey and needed an early night - Not happy

Very clean, well presented and sound proof couldn’t hear the pub downstairs at all even though the World Cup final was on. Variety of options for breakfast and made to order.

We travelled from Manchester for one overnight stay specially to visit the grey seal sanctuary at Donna Nook, one the coast twelve miles away.

This year 2207 seal pups have been born to date. The pups, their seal mums and a lot of bull seals are withing metres of the sand dune walkway. Try it .. .. its excellent throughout November.
The Kings Head provided everything we needed with a town centre site in beautiful Louth. A large, quiet room. A varied menu for our evening meal. An excellent breakfast, and as written above, a lovely staff. Free town centre parking in the hotel's car park made it perfect.
I said it was perfect for us.

On site car park, very clean and comfortable room, good residents restaurant and lounge, overall I had a good stay and would definitely use again next time I'm in Louth.
Didn't have time to explore but hotel sits near the centre of Louth so be a good place to explore the town from.
