It’s a great place to stay in Lincolnshire and the staff are fantastic

Excellent breakfast. Hotel ideally situated in centre of town ,close to all shops and restaurants.

Room was located up 3 flights of stairs which was somewhat tiring for people of our age (70s). Room was adequate yet rather small with very little storage space for clothes. On suite lacked shelves for toiletries etc and again somewhat compact.

The staff were very helpful

The parking was tricky and we struggled to find somewhere to park on departure which was essential as we had a lot to load up.

Absolutely fabulous hotel . The staff are so lovely and welcoming . Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast choice was the best ever. We will definitely be coming back it’s worth the 6 hour drive ❤️

ROOM 5 There was a strange and unidentifiable ‘cabbage’ aroma in the bathroom. We didn’t let it bother us but if we had been staying for more than one night we would have asked for a room move.

Our third time staying here. Staff always very friendly and hotel spotless. Christmas decorations looked fantastic.

Room 3 is VERY small...but we knew that! Shame the bar shuts so early.

I travelled with my elderly partner , we had no heating in the night, I rang down at 7am no answer for the first 2 times, 3rd time they said they had reset the heating, it was too late really, was very cold in our room, such a shame, 😢 you did apologise about it .

It was clean. Staff were friendly. Location was central.

The room wasn`t as big as expected, looked bigger on website, no room for a chair or rack for suitcase. No one told us about market stalls being set up very early (5.00am-6.30am) on Friday morning. If we stay again we would ask for a room at rear of Hotel.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The homemade scone, homemade jam and clotted cream was sublime and the breakfast choice was brilliant. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The room we had was a little small but the comfort of the bed more than made up for it.

Lovely spacious room and classy contemporary ensuite (also spacious) with powerful shower, lots of hot water and luxurious towels. Beautifully-cooked breakfast, though given proximity to Grimsby a fish option e.g kippers or smoked haddock would be a perfect addition. The hotel itself is slap bang in the middle of town and car parking (comes in the price) is a 5-minute walk away and arranged for your car by the staff. Excellent.

We have stayed before and enjoy its location food and a good breakfast.

We were in room ten and unfortunately the room was very cold the heating wasn’t on and there was no way of turning it on, The room was cold all night and to cold too shower in the morning although my partner did I waited till we got home

Only downside wanted evening meal but they don’t open for meals at night. But found somewhere so not a problem.

We like the location and usually it is a good hotel to use. Central, excellent staff and good breakfast.

On this occasion our shower and toilet had a very nasty drain smell. We did report it and the staff pulled out the stops to rectify. We used the fan all night pointing at the door and the extractor fan was on also. Glad only one night and we will not be using room 5 again. The shower waste probably needs removing and cleaning. We did get a 50% discount.

IT’s location in the centre of town and a nice old building.

Getting a call on my mobile to ask if we could get there early to book in there was no bar or food available after 6pm and when we got back from our day out other than a night light the place was in darkness very unwelcoming.

Bedroom needed dusting and very small

Located in the middle of Louth, an historic market town on the edge of the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. A warm welcome at reception, who showed us to our room. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated in a modern style. Breakfast was served in the pleasant bistro restaurant and although the choice wasn’t exceptional, the food was excellent, plentiful and pleasantly served.

Difficult to find anything not to like about the property. Being in the old town centre does mean there’s a walk of a few minutes from the car park (although the hotel arranged a parking pass which was welcome).
