The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and this has to be one of the cleanest places I've stayed in :) The owners, Diane and Sam, were friendly but not intrusive, this is an excellent B&B! The only thing that would have made it perfect would be on site parking, but due to the location of the property I don't think this can be done. There was ample on street parking during our stay in Sept 2023. Oh, and the shower was good and powerful too!

This was a repeat visit because we like the place so much and the owners run it so nicely. The breakfast is of a very high quality.

Pleasant quiet residential location. Close to the sea and restaurants. Cosy comfortable room. Very tasty breakfast.

Prefer slightly earlier breakfast time

Breakfast was outstanding. Cooked to perfection. The house was unbelievably clean. Diane and Sam were very welcoming.Bed was very comfortable. Can not fault anything about our stay here. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfasts were very tasty and well presented. The house is well situated and the beach is 6 or 7 minutes away. I can recommend this guest house as we enjoyed our stay and will return.

Location a few mins walk from the sea front on a quiet street. Ample on-street parking. Comfortable bed, black out curtains. Spotlessly clean room.

Being picky, the shower pressure was a bit low (top floor).

The breakfast was excellent, great produce prepared well and meal adapted to meet our needs and preferences

Our room was well appointed and immaculately clean. The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was wonderful - we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was second to none, all the ingredients were of absolute top quality and it was so well cooked and presented.

The warm welcome, the cleanliness of the whole place, the quality (and quantity) of the freshly cooked breakfast. The proximity to the town centre and the sea front.

There was not anything that we didn't like. If pushed to say anything at all, it would be no on-site parking! But that should be expected given the type of property and its location!!!

Athol House is a beautifully decorated and looked after property in a great location in Filey with easy walks to the Town centre and the beach. The standard of facilities and decor is superb and probably the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. The owners are lovely and well experienced at running their guest house and the full English breakfast is superb indeed. Ten out of ten without doubt 😊

Limited parking space on the street but the hosts found us a free space close by.

The Athol house hotel was excellent the hosts made you very welcome rooms very spacious and beautiful guesthouse very clean we will definitely stay here again

Like everything about it. If we go back to Filey then I would not look anywhere else, I would just book Athol House. Also very useful to be able to park outside. Location is great as well. Lovely room.
