The property was in a good location close to the seafront and also the centre of town, both only a short walk.

Diane & Sam are lovely hosts, making you feel very welcome and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay.
Bedroom and property are spotless and we had a very comfortable stay, great decor with attention to detail.
Breakfast was amazing ! all local produce and cooked to perfection, not to mention a very good location.
We will be visiting Athol again very soon.

Everything! Lovely hosts, made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The room we stayed in was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, comfy and so cosy.
Breakfast was delicious and afterwards it was just a street walk to the beach to walk it off.
We cannot praise this property/hosts enough.
We visit Filey a lot and I have paid double price several times and enjoyed it less

The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and this has to be one of the cleanest places I've stayed in :) The owners, Diane and Sam, were friendly but not intrusive, this is an excellent B&B! The only thing that would have made it perfect would be on site parking, but due to the location of the property I don't think this can be done. There was ample on street parking during our stay in Sept 2023. Oh, and the shower was good and powerful too!

The breakfast was fabulous, the poached egg was the BEST I've ever had, the plate wasn't full of grease like some breakfast are, and the dining area for breakfast was beautiful

The breakfasts were very tasty and well presented. The house is well situated and the beach is 6 or 7 minutes away. I can recommend this guest house as we enjoyed our stay and will return.

EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB, THE OWNERS SAM & DIANE WERE EXCEPTIONAL, THE CARE AND ATTENTION TAKEN ON THE PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT, THE BREAKFAST AND SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC.

Our room was well appointed and immaculately clean. The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was wonderful - we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was second to none, all the ingredients were of absolute top quality and it was so well cooked and presented.

There was not anything that we didn't like. If pushed to say anything at all, it would be no on-site parking! But that should be expected given the type of property and its location!!!

Athol House is a beautifully decorated and looked after property in a great location in Filey with easy walks to the Town centre and the beach. The standard
of facilities and decor is superb and probably the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. The owners are lovely and well experienced at running
their guest house and the full English breakfast is superb indeed. Ten out of ten without doubt 😊

Limited parking space on the street but the hosts found us a free space close by.

Like everything about it. If we go back to Filey then I would not look anywhere else, I would just book Athol House.
Also very useful to be able to park outside. Location is great as well. Lovely room.
