It met my expectations, nice and clean, the host was very welcoming

Clean accommodation. Friendly owner (although we are English and speak very little Spanish- so communication was a little difficult as he didn't speak much English either! Lol) everything you could want for a few days.

Bed was far to firm for us. Although so may like a firm bed, it gave us back ache. The accom is right on a main road and so was noisy in the mornings.

The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs of a bright green painted building, opposite a pharmacy so easy to find. The room is large, bright and airy with a high ceiling, lovely traditional tiling on the floor and bathroom walls. The bathroom is large with a bidet and walk in shower. There is a microwave/grill and a coffee filter machine with enough utensils for 2 people. Although situated on a fairly busy street in town, you can walk to the sea in 5 minutes and to the port, beach and shopping centre in 15 minutes.

The towels provided were old and rough. Because we were travelling light we did not bring our own. The host did not speak any English, but using his translator App we were able to communicate basics!

Warm welcome from the manager. He showed me all the features of the apartment. Huge bed. Hot shower with great pressure. Excellent wifi. Please try the local red bus (€1/1hour round trip) to see local areas (&cafes), including the nearby surf beach. Menu del dia- so many restaurants offer this excellent value option.

Cutlery- plenty of it in the drawer, but perhaps some organisation into compartments would help.

My flight was delayed but the landlord made no problem for me to pick up the keys late in the evening. Location close to the city center and from the bus station. Coffee machine in the room.
