The Castle Inn is in a great location, within walking distance of Lulworth Cove. A lovely building full of character. We had two excellent meals. Staff were very friendly. Our room was quirky. A bit small but only to be expected with this old property. Very comfortable bed. Overall we loved our stay.

Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and friendly staff. Plus a great location. There were treats and doggy shampoo in the room for us. Would definitely recommend for a short break.

Booked last minute and got the last room! The car park is situated just across the road (very quiet village) and has cameras, as you enter the bar area you enter your registration number on the computer 👍 Had evening meal for the 2 of us it was great with a perfectly cooked steak and triple cooked chips 😋😋 The bedrooms are well equipped with iron, ironing board, hair dryer, dyson fan and mini bar 👍 Breakfast was excellent and a good start to the day 👍👍 will return!

The property is beautiful with so much character. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean with lovely en suites. The food is amazing.

We’ve stayed here twice the only thing we don’t like are the beds. We find them very firm which we don’t like but, if you like firm, you’ll love them.

Room was very small with very limited space for bags etc due largely to nature of premises.

The rooms we were in were very insulated from the noise of the pub and we were not disturbed. Nice breakfast and a great meal the night before. The restaurant staff were welcoming and very helpful.

The bed was a little firm.

This was a dream stay! Gorgeous property, delicious breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful room decor, and—best of all—only a ten-minute walk from Lulworth Cove and the coastal path to Durdle Door. I’ll definitely be back!

Staff were struggling with workload but coping well with friendly demeanour! Cost a bit above what I'd normally pay but considering time of year, it was a fair price for the location.

The hotel looked beautiful but unfortunately the room (no 5) was too small.

The room (no 5) was too small, too hot with a broken window and mould or dirt around the window. no alternative room was offered as they were full so we left . most disappointing😞

The Castle Inn was very welcoming. It’s a lovely old building with a modern feel. The rooms are nicely decorated and have a warm, cosy feel to them. The bathrooms are very nice and modern.

It wasn’t a dislike at all but a shelf in the bathroom would have been useful.

The room was lovely and clean, comfortable and private. The food was delicious, we had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and couldn't have been more pleased to do so. Its a lovely walk down to the Cove. Generally overall just a lovely place to go to treat yourself!

The food was amazing! Would recommend anyone to eat there as well as stay! The room was small but cosy and very well equipped with everything we needed! The staff were friendly and a pleasure to meet!

We were told on arrival that there was a staff training session on during the evening so we couldn’t eat later than 18:30 despite being told on the phone a few days before we could eat later. Wasn’t too much of an issue but a heads up would of been good.

I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like and the icing on the cake big snowflakes in the morning it looked so picturesque.

The beautiful location, ease of parking, the staff, the bar, the food .... cannot fault anything. We were greeted with warmth and effortless hospitality which continued through every aspect of our stay

Absolutely nothing negative to report, just be aware there are no other bars/pubs within walking distance, but, to be fair, once you're in the bar/restaurant here you won't want to leave!
