Good location, great for visiting the coast, pretty village with a good pub near by. Mike the host was great at communication and key pick up was straightforward. Property was clean and perfect for our weekend.

Cleanliness: Upon arrival, we found that the kitchen was not up to standard. Despite having a dishwasher, the dishes and cutlery were dirty. Cookware Condition: The pots and pans were in poor condition, with scratched Teflon that posed a health risk as it was flaking off into our food. Furniture: The furniture had a greasy residue, which was unwelcoming. Heating System: The oil heater was noisy and emitted an unpleasant odor. The excessive use of air fresheners throughout the house was overwhelming and lingered on our belongings. The host was apologetic and responsive, providing a replacement set of pots during our stay. In conclusion, while the house has great potential and is ideally located for a holiday retreat, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our comfort. I believe that addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the experience for future guests.
