Susana is a great host. Once you enter her colorful house you realize that your stay at her place will be magical. She, little Golfo and sweet Basil (both super friendly) welcomed us during our time in Caleta de Fuste. We had our independence during the days at Shangrilà (we had our own room with private bathroom and terrace) but Susana was always ready to help whenever you needed it, both with advice or good laughs. The house is very clean and a big surprise: the mattress is very comfortable. We slept very well.

This is a comfortable, very quiet, re-energising and colourful place. The guesthouse is well organised and perfectly located, it is just 10 minutes by car from the airport and you can discover the full island from there easily. We spent a very relaxing week at Shangri-lá. The owner is a wonderful person who took great care of us and she made our stay in Fuerteventura really unique. ¡Muchas gracias, Susana!

Susana is the most welcoming, caring, cool and funny host you could ever ask for. She made my stay precious. The atmosphere is relaxed, her breakfasts are out of this world and Basil and Golfo are so funny. It was my first stop in Fuerteventura and it couldn’t have been better. I just loved everything about that place. The location is in the middle of the island so you can get to both ends (south/north) in about one hour with a (rental) car. Also there is nearby a bus station where you can get a bus in both directions. I used it once to get to Corralejo which took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to get from the airport to the guesthouse by taxi or car. The guesthouse is a very inspirational colorful place with a lot of wonderful art which is from Susanna herself. It is very clean and everything smells good (bed covers etc.). The private terrace from this room is really big. The bed is very comfortable. The owner is very helpful with everything you need. @Susana: Thank you for everything. It was really "spectacular" ;)

I loved everything about my stay!!! I don’t know where to start but all I can say is that I have now found my home away from home. I can’t wait to come back!! Susana and Basil were a pleasure to meet and they made me feel so comfortable. The home was filled with love and great energy. I loved being surrounded by plants, and positive affirmations on a daily basis! <3 Ohhh and Susana’s food was the best!!! I looked forward to it every morning!

Nothing, all was perfect!

Shangri-la is a very peaceful and restful place to stay. The host Susana is attentive and obliging. She acts as a perfect host and guide to the island, taking time to ensure her guests are not short of anything they need within or outside of her home. So much is included in your stay that it is easy to overpack for a stay at her property. Toiletries, towels (including a beach towel) and a hairdryer are all provided. Susana cleans her guest accommodation every other day. Her friendly dog Basil provides as much warmth to visitors as she does, without getting under your feet. The outside areas instil calm and the pool is a perfect place to cool off quickly in the summer heat. All in all, Shangri-la is a very relaxing stay for travellers who want a guarantee of ideal home comforts.

Suzanna is a lovely lady and she has very nice companionship of Sambuka and Bassil. So nice dogs. Thereabove I received in the morning the special Suzanna-coffee. I recommand everybody to taste it. Suzanna was a good guide to me. She let me know the beautifull places of Fuerteventura. I was happy with her guidelines. They made my holliday spectacular.
