Huge room, by far the most amount of space we found anywhere in Tokyo and Japan! Room is well soundproofed and couldn’t hear much of the outside noise despite being in a bustling location!

Furnishings and property is quite dated which was not too much of a problem for us.

The hotel is very near to Shin-Okubo station, only minutes away. The station has lift access from platform to ground floor, with luggages in tow, makes it so easy to get to hotel. Don donki is just below the hotel, while there are Family Mart and Lawsons on the same street. So easy to get your necessities. Room and bathroom are spacious. Water pressure is pretty good.

Room was spacious comparing to the others i used to stay in Tokyo.

Toilet bowl leaked when flushing that gave a little bad smell.

Location and a 4 person room great worth for value, furniture is not the newest but for 3-4 nights it's definitely ok! Convenience store and bars right outside on the main street, including the underground.

Great location for visiting Tokyo, one train stop from Shinjuku Stn. Hotel room is very spacious and comfortable and we didn't mind the décor that is pretty dated. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating, last day after checkout there was no problem to leave the luggage at the hotel before departure. A very convenient Family Mart just a few meters from the hotels and lots of places to eat around.

Shin Okubo is one of the only two Yamanote stations, with Mejiro, not to offer a direct connection with another line. If you plan on using the convenient metro day pass for transportation around Tokyo, there is no metro direct access.

Funny (stale) smell in room, no possibility for some fresh air, nobody from staff speaks english

Amazing location, equidistant from shin-okubu and okubu Station. Very large spacious room. The room is dated but everything was clean and actually for Tokyo terms it was more a suite than a room.
