What a wonderful stay! The apartment was beautiful, extremely clean, and much more spacious than we thought. The view was beautiful. The apartment was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. We loved not needing to worry about a key (with a little one, it’s one less thing to worry about!). Walking distance to all major attractions. And the host! Guiseppe was a great host. He met us, explained some of the top sights in Bologna, gave us some GREAT restaurant recommendations (even making a dinner reservation for us), and was available for any questions we had throughout the stay. He had some cold drinks and snacks waiting for us at check in. He also helped us when we rented a car and needed to drive to the apartment to pick up our things. He set up a travel cot for our daughter, and even gave her a small gift!!!! What an amazing host. We can’t wait to return!

The location, the property, and above all the host, are excellent. Giuseppe was very easy to communicate with in advance and was waiting for us outside the property when we arrived there from the train station. He helped us move our luggage into the beautiful unit (spacious, clean, modern, and well-appointed), made several recommendations re: dining, local sites, tours, and transport for day trips away from Bologna. However, what stood out the most was how much pride he took (and joy he derived) from being a wonderful and gracious host. Upon meeting our two young daughters, he immediately went to his apartment (just upstairs) and came back with a stuffed animal and doll for them. When I told him I needed to pick up a rental car the next day, he volunteered to take me there and brought me back. He even showed me where I might park near the train station (at his office) should we choose to take a train (instead of driving on our own) for a day trip. He was friendly, informed, responsive, and spot-on with his recommendations. It almost felt like we were staying with our favorite uncle. We would recommend Residenza Pellacani to anyone visiting Bologna highly and without hesitation.

The only thing that we would have preferred is for the laundry machine to be in the unit.

Perhaps the insulation between apartments could be a problem, but at least it was very quiet at night

Guiseppe, his son and Rosy were amazing hosts. We went by car and Guiseppe organized a garage just on the same street for us.

The location was central and in a fun student district, although there weren’t any noise issues at night. The apartment was an easy walk into the centre of the city. Our host was lovely and really made an effort to ensure we were comfortable. He even gave our son a toy car and helped arranged our transport links on to our next location.

Bologna is definitely an amazing city but this beautiful accommodation and Giuseppe made our stay even more memorable. The apartment is nicely designed, spacious and very clean. There is everything you need. It’s located in the city center and most of the sights are close by. Giuseppe is very friendly and helpful. He gave us a lot of good recommendations regarding sightseeing and food. This was one of our best accommodations we had so far. Thank you, Giuseppe! We will return!

Giuseppe is a wonderful host and the property was perfect- extremely clean, well furnished and walkable to all of Bologna’s attractions. An excellent choice in Bologna.

The new apartment is clean, 2 bathrooms, everything one would need for your stay, Giuseppe sat down and told us the best parts of Bologna to visit and was so kind!! So was his wife! I really wanted to just move in and stay!

It is near the university, but that did not bother us at all! It was off a side street, but close to all the shopping and delicious restaurants!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Great host, great help on what to do, great room.. What can you ask more?

The apartment was amazing. High quality facilities, spotless clean and nicely arranged. It is spacious and well arranged. The beds have been really comfortable and even though it is in the heart of Bologna it was super quiet during nights. All the sights and great restaurants are in walking distance. There is also a private parking garage belonging to the apartment right next door. And there is Giuseppe - the most perfect host ever! He was so attentive, giving us great tips for restaurants, sights etc. Thank you so much!
