We had a wonderful relaxing 8 days at Phu Quoc Kim 2. The location is fantastic with close up views, and sounds, of the sea from our bungalow. As well as the views, we were on the edge of Ganh Dau which is a traditional Vietnamese fishing village/small town. The location of the resort means the other west facing coast is within easy walking distance for amazing views of the sunset. As well as eating at Kim 2, on a beautiful small terrace adjacent to the sea, there were other restaurants and fisher's street food within easy walking distance. Kim and Binh, the proprietors, were very friendly and helpful. They sorted out any queries and had their own driver and local boat contacts. Much of Phu Quoc is being developed but this is a corner of the island that is relatively unspoilt and well worth the trouble of getting there. Although the snorkelling off the small sandy beach was not as biodiverse as some of the Thai islands, there were still small shoals of various fish including colourful sergeant major fish. Other wildlife included several sea eagles flying above the beach and even a Vietnamese forest scorpion which Binh humanely returned to the wild. This resort comes highly recommended for peaceful relaxation on a small, friendly, well run site.

We enjoyed the breakfast but would have appreciated a slightly larger breakfast with a little more choice.

we stayed one week at Kim`s Bungalow it was fantastic. i loved the view and the nature design of the whole place. Kim was a very charming and very helpful. She also gave us valuable tips what we can do outside. We loved this place so much therefore we come back next week.

Super family run resort in a secluded area of the is;land. Feels like a million miles away from the heavily developed and commercialized side of the island.
