If you want to stay in this area, you definitely need to go there. Tangkas house is the best guesthouse I ever been. The couple who own the house is so kind. Tutik will give you a warm welcome and some great advises about the places to go from tangkas. She's also a great cooker, you definitely need to eat the local food and the dishes they prepare for them. The location is perfect, 15m by walk in a beautiful area to the main spots, like the tirta empul temple, Pura mengening, gunung kawi tampakrising, the timing rice terrace and a coffee plantation. Go on these spots in the morning, their cute dog Koya will guide you! Also close to some others good location by bike. You also need to speak to her husband Nyoman, a dancer and very interesting person, please take the time to know them they are so kind and friendly. The house is magnificent, an experience in itself. Take a stroll in the garden, observe the plants and animals (cows, carp, birds, chickens...). The rooms, at a very good price, are very large and comfortable, and I spent an excellent night in a large bed lulled by the sounds of nature. A few gifts await you on arrival. I've never experienced such a warm welcome, in such a beautiful and comfortable place. You must stay at Tangkas House, and I'll be back as soon as I can. Thank you Tutik and Nyoman!

Nothing, everything is perfect. And even if you get a small problem, go directly ask them. Like sometimes hot water may not be available, so ask and it's instantly sorted. There is nothing wrong with the service and quality of this place.

We were blown away by discovering this haven of tranquility and hospitality. The family were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. The room was perfect. This was the best place we stayed in Indonesia.

- the environment is stunning, really special and authentic, more beautiful than the pictures shown for this accommodation - with our 2 young kids we felt very safe and welcome at the place and exceptionally cared for, it’s definitely child friendly - the hosts; if you like they will give you lots of insights in Bali life and support you in lots of touristic activities, their flexibility is exceptional - the food offered - strong and stable WiFi - the cleanliness offered We stayed here for a week with 2 young kids and I can recommend this place to any other family who like us wants to enjoy the authentic nature and culture of Bali in a relaxed and personal way. In our case, with a lot of little things, I got the feeling they go the extra mile to make their guests happy. We had an amazing time!
