Our family of 2 adults and 3 teens enjoyed our stay at Casa Lucile. The kids loved the pool. There was enough room to spread out. Everything we needed was here. Easy to get to the beach towns. My only advice to the owners would be to invest in blinds or shades. The sun comes up early! Would stay here again.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It’s got everything you can need from games to kitchen equipment. Loads of space. The pool and outdoor area is fabulous for relaxing, chatting, eating lunch etc. the garden is beautiful and it’s so nice to be surrounded by lovely plants. Booking was smooth, the instructions are great and the place was spotlessly clean. There were several houses under construction around the area, a couple of which did create a lot of noise during the day. This was really unfortunate because we did book this place to relax by a pool, but it’s not something the owner can do anything about. We went out every afternoon but the mornings were somewhat disrupted! Once those closer houses are complete, it would be a tranquil haven, I’m sure.

We were a group off 7 persons ( adults , teenagers and little one ). Very good location near to Alvor , but you need a car to visit the area . The house was spotless , stayed 2 weeks and after 1 week new sheets, cleaning off the house . Everything what you needed was available, the pool very clean and nice size . Would recommend to everyone and hope to come again one day

Casa Lucile is very nice villa to relax and enjoy a good holiday with family and friends. The pool area is great and the games (table tennis, pool table, etc) are a great bonus for entertainment. The villa is well located to make trips to Lagos, Alvor, Silves and the famous Algarve beaches. The owner of the villa Simon is very helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great stay.

The Villa fully met the online specification. The location was good for visiting both the local facilities and the western Algarve region. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We were 2 families of 4 staying at the villa. Lots of space and pool great size for the children. Location good but ate in Alvor most nights, as better choice with children. Check out time of 9, a little early with children to get organised. Would definitely visit again.

Three generations of our family spent an enjoyable 10 days at Casa Lucile. The villa was very spacious and very clean - cleaners came in once during our stay and they were particularly friendly and helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the garden (which was very nicely maintained and peaceful) - plenty of sun loungers and very comfortable rattan furniture perfectly placed for the pool and shade. We also appreciated the dining furniture on the terrace and spent enjoyable evenings dining and indulging in a glass or two! The games room was enjoyed by all and there was some very serious table tennis and pool competition going on! We ate at both the recommended restaurants, Fonte de Pedra and Solar Do Farelo and were not disappointed - in fact we returned to both! In summary we had a very happy holiday at Casa Lucile. Stunning villa with all amenities you could need. We went as 2 families with children aged 4 and 1. There was ample space for all of us. Car is required but not far from Alvor and beaches. Simon was excellent to communicate with and ensured we had 2 travel cost/highchairs. Overall I would recommend staying here. The only issue (which can’t be helped) is dogs barking at night from nearby villas but it wasn’t all night. A fantastic base to explore the algarve.

As a large family group attending our son's wedding, Casa Lucile provided an excellent base. The rooms are spacious and neat whilst the outside dining facilities and pool area provided the perfect area for relaxing in the glorious weather. Local restaurants are highly recommended - Fonte da Pedra and Solar do Farelo. Superb. Alvor is close by- car needed and Lagos and Portimao have great beaches and restaurants. We had a great time.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday at Casa Lucile. The immaculately villa had everything we needed and was in a beautiful, peaceful location. Some excellent restaurants close by and the weather was just perfect. Thoroughly recommend Casa Lucile for that really relaxing holiday.

The villa was everything we could have wanted,lovely grounds,Pool and rooms. Due to the weather,it was a godsend to have the additions of pool ,table tennis and bar football!!!a real life saver! Can't wait to return to relax in the sun in future months!! The local restaurants recommended were fabulous and very friendly.

It was extremely hot so we appreciated the fact that the house stayed cool inside and outside there is plenty of shady places to sit and of course the pool. We enjoyed the games facilities, particularly the splendid pool and table tennis tables. In summary the whole experience was great. Great golf break, villa Casa Lucile offered our party of four a great base. The local restaurant Ferandos was fabulous. It was away from the hustle and bustle which gave us time to relax by the superb pool. Will be booking again for next year.

We had an excellent time at Casa Lucile. The property was clean, well maintained and had superb facilities. The pool was great! The location also meant that we were in very close proximity to many popular tourist destinations, with the nearest beach only 10 minutes away by car. We had a superb time and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday.

We stopped at the villa for a short break - thankfully the weather was good and we spent a few days basking in the sun. The villa was a really good standard and set in beautiful gardens. We had everything that we needed to make it a home from home. It is located close to a few good restaurants, one of them was out of this world - Solar Do Farelo - the food and service was some of the best we've ever experienced. So we would definitely recommend the villa and if you go make sure you visit the restaurant - you won't be disappointed!

We had the most fantastic week in gorgeous Casa Lucile. The villa was spacious and extremely well equipped for our every need. The pool and surrounding area was also very spacious with seating/loungers both in & out the sun. We loved the outside dining area - just fabulous! There were 5 adults, 1 teenager & a toddler in our party and the villa was perfect for all. It is situated at the top of a steep road so wouldn't be suitable for elderly/infirm etc without car hire. A visit to Fonte de Pedra for dinner is a must - Carlos & Victoria are wonderful hosts, the food is amazing & prices very reasonable. Communication with Simon & Vel was also fantastic, they were more than happy to answer all my questions prior to our trip & I would not hesitate to return or recommend others to visit their lovely villa.

Perfect location for a peaceful relaxing holiday, situated just outside of main towns such as Alvor. The Villa itself was in immaculate condition and had everything required for an enjoyable stay. Bedrooms were all of good size with plenty of storage. I would highly recommend to anyone as it can provide an enjoyable stay to people seeking all sorts of holiday.

We had a great stay, the location was just right, within easy striking distance of the sea and the airport. Villa lovely well cared for, great rooms and pool. Quiet location so a good restful environment. would love to stay again. would heartily recommend.

After a early flight from Birmingham, the hire car rep was waiting with our car.When we arrived at the Villa,the hire bikes had been delivered on time.The Villa is located within manicured gardens with a good sized pool,with sun loungers,tables and chairs.The Villa is well maintained with a large lounge,roomy kitchen,light and airy feel to the bedrooms. With excellent weather,good traffic free roads and with good company, we spent four days touring the area from the sea in the south to Monchique and above.After the day on the bikes,we would relax in one of the local restaurants or bars,eating good food and drinking the local wine.All in all everything about the break was 10 out of 10.

The villa is very clean and tidy with a friendly feel it is an ideal base for a holiday in the Algarve,Alvor is only a short drive away with very good beaches and nightlife,there are restaurants within in walking distance of the villa Amadeus being my favourite . A drive to monchique is recommended the views over the Algarve. Will be back

We stayed at the Casa Lucille for a week at the end of May as a group of 6 with one child. The villa was well equipped and spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed. The owners had obviously taken great care to fit it to a high standard including bbq, fully equipped kitchen and two fridges (great to stack the beers in!)! Excellent swimming pool and games room. Mature gardens with high hedging, not overlooked by neighbours. Three bathrooms made shower-time very easy for us. There was a variety of local restaurants nearby, two within walking distance. The nicest restaurant we ate at was the Fonte De Pedro which was lovely local food at a good price, very friendly staff too. Amadeus was ok. 'Johnny hates Fish' burger bar in Alvor was also excellent if you like gourmet steak burgers. The beach was around 15-20 minutes drive, the one nearest at Alvor was lovely. We also went to the beach at Portimao which was busier but still a great spot. We found a local butcher in Alvor amongst the tourist shops who supplied lovely meats for the bbq at a great price. He also had great tips for recipes! There were also a couple of local bars who showed all the sky sports so no one missed out on football. We also went to the summit at Foia and spent a day at the Slide and Splash. Both are recommended. Overall, the villa provided a great base for us to explore the area easily but it was also self-contained enough that if we didn't want to go out for the day, everything we needed was there to hand to keep everyone entertained. Highly recommended!
