Het huisje was erg smaakvol en compleet ingericht. Toen wij problemen hadden met de TV waren de verhuurders er snel om te helpen. De verhuurders reageerden snel op vragen. De omgeving is prachtig om te wandelen, fietsen en er met de auto op uit te gaan.

De code van het kluisje was niet vooraf aan ons bekend gemaakt. En mijn zus en ik hadden het erg gastvrij gevonden als er iets van welkom was geweest. Wij dachten aan bijvoorbeeld een klein dienblaadje met wat koffiecupjes, theezakjes, iets lekkers (klein is dan prima) wat suiker en melk. We begrijpen heel goed dat dit voor verhuurders absoluut geen verplichting is, maar het komt zo gastvrij over en doet je goed. Als je komt aanrijden is het natuurlijk nog vreemd en moet je via een smal pad naar het huisje rijden. En dan in 1 keer rechtsaf naar het huisje, omdat onze aandacht gericht was op het huis en waar we zijn moesten zagen we een laag hekje complet over het hoofd en reden deze vakkundig plat. Wij vonden het hekje daar niet handig en van weinig nut. Het kostte ons onze borg. Uit het oogpunt van de verhuurders terecht, maar voor ons jammer.

Peace and quietful place, the house is cozy and has all what you need (cuttlery, appliances, etc) to spend a few days relaxing with your family. They accept pets for a small extra charge. The hosts are amazing, everything went super smoothly from the beginning to the end.

While we didn't dislike it and it's part of the deal, the house is located far away from supermarkets and other facilities. (2.5kms the closest).

Perfect place for a short stay! Well located, super clean, and really comfortable spaces. It was all we were looking for a weekend out.

The vacation house is comfortable for a family of 3 that we had. There were 4 single beds, and of course you can join the beds to make them into a big one. There was a good washing machine and a dryer. The bathroom was clean and neat with adequate facilities. The kitchen was fully furnished and there were essential products stocked. There are two TVs both connected to wifi's and have apps in them so you can enjoy some relax time in the couches in the living room or catch a move in the bedroom. There is also a small slide for small kids and a trampoline. The play room had a variety of toys, a table tennis table, a foos ball table that we could play. There is also a barbeque that we can use. Behind the house there is a bird reservation which gets colorful birds and you can enjoy a good sunrise in the morning as you sip the coffee. The property is located in a quiet residential street however it is quite private. The neighbours are quiet and friendly and mostly use the properties in the area for vacation time. The lake Tjeukemeer is about a km or so away, 5 minutes by car/bicycle and 15-20 minutes by walk. It gets cold by the lake so the property's location is quite fine a little bit away. The property also provides a lot of brochures to fun activities nearby. Sailing and horse riding. You can also take quiet walks in the roads nearby but watch out for fast drivers. The owners were nice and they provided us with a child bed and bedding for free. We stayed in the winter so we did not really make full use of the backyard but we can definitely put up a kiddie pool in the summer. There is also outdoor furniture which you can use to relax. The vacation home looks exactly as it does in the picture. It has adequate parking space as well outside for 2 large cars. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
