Quaint and cozy mountain house in perfect proximity to downtown Saluda. Everything you need for a relaxing visit is all there, just light the fire! Lovely screen porch and back deck, plus a friendly neighbor with cat. Well appointed furnishings that were welcoming and comfortable! We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Beautiful setting with everything close by. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Wonderful porch for sitting and we love the wood burning fireplace. We have been here 6 times and love it!

Lovely, cosy home with a great screened in porch. The neighborhood was peaceful and it was a nice walk to Main Street. We loved exploring the area: Saluda, Tryon, and Pearson Falls.

A Great Stay
We had a good experience! The house was tidy and it was easy to find what we needed. We had good communication beforehand and the check in was straightforward but the house was a little hard to find when we arrived in the dark. We appreciated the tucked away seclusion though! A problem with the microwave was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. Property is easy walking distance to everything in historic downtown Saluda.

Perfect Property
We have stayed here a number of times and it is our favorite Saluda cottage! Eva is a wonderful host with a charming cottage. Normally we visit in warmer weather and can enjoy the porches. This visit we enjoyed the fireplace! We love it and will continue to return!

Nice get-away!
Very nice house in quiet location. Walking distance to downtown Saluda. Nice to be able to walk to dinner and the sunset was gorgeous from the screened in porch. It was too cold to sit on the the porch but I bet it’s lovely when the temperature cooperates. Kitchen was fully stocked and bedrooms were comfortable. We drove to hike but there are several in area that are close to Saluda. Saw a couple of bugs in the house but this area is considered ‘the south’ and bugs are pretty common. The owner was really great to work with and very responsive. Overall a great and relaxing stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at the property. Like others have mentioned, most everything you could need is within a short walk of the house including some great restaurants. There are great hikes within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Overall, it was a great stay.

Quiet, comfortable home nestled in the trees
Quiet, comfortable home right in the heart of town! Just a short walk to Main St but tucked away on a quiet culdesac. The screened-in porch was our favorite feature, especially in the rain! Eva was a wonderful host, very responsive & helpful. Thanks for the great stay!

Gorgeous Get Away
A beautiful, charming mountain house, with great kitchen and a fabulous screened in porch. Was perfect weather to sit out with family and catch up, quiet and relaxing. Great location, close to main street in Saluda, walking distance. Highly recommend.

Very cozy house but cleanliness an issue
This house has a warm cozy feel and lovely decorated. However I have stayed at several VRBO houses, and this one lacks on the cleaning side. The issues range from dirty floors to dirty cabinets inside and out. I spoke with the owner and hope she will take corrective actions.

Saluda NC House
Great location to town. Nice size 3 bedroom home. Older comfortable home with beautiful wood floors and nice remodeling of kitchen and bathrooms. We had an issue with toilet running in master bedroom and called owner so she immediately called plumber to come out and fix the problem. Great communication and response with owner.

Lovely foothills hideaway
What a beautiful home tucked away in the greenery and historic area of Saluda! Peaceful setting with things to see and do within walking distance, and a short drive from more attractions in chimney rock and Asheville. The home has comfortable beds, plenty of well stocked linens and kitchen items, and two lovely porches with comfortable seating. Peaceful and welcoming! We’ll likely be back!

Wonderful, beautifully decorated home
Very well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook, or walk a block to downtown Saluda for a meal. Quiet, clean home with large screen porch and big deck in back (with gas grill.) Wonderful walking neighborhood. Newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, lovely wood floors throughout the home. Just a great experience beginning to end. Thank you Ms Eva.

July 4th Getaway
The location of this home is excellent. We could walk to the quaint town of Saluda. We did this several times for breakfast, dinner, to shop at the local grocery store, and even for our kayak outing. The proximity of Saluda to other places is great too, a 30-40 minute drive to Sliding rock and Brevard as well as Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. All destinations on our itinerary. Everyone got their own bed, which with 3 kids that’s very important! Thank you!

Screened porch delight, close to town!
Perfect home for our family with just 2block walking distance to town yet on a private cal-de-sac, surrounded by trees. It has a wonderful large screened porch, for: naps, reading and distancing, when local friends dropped by to catch up! House had plenty of seating for gathering & large table for eating. Home was comfortable & clean with everything we needed in the kitchen! Beds and showers were great! We Liked the hardwood floors throughout & appreciated access to cleaning supplies since we had a toddler with us who spent a lot of time on the floor! Wifi was strong!

Wonderful, spacious house. The house had everything we needed. The location was fantastic...walking distance to downtown. Plenty of parking. We can’t wait to return when it warms up so we can enjoy the large screened porch. Eva was a wonderful host!

Enjoyed our stay at Salada! Beautiful and cozy home close to town. You can walk everywhere. Home was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. We also loved the porch! Would definitely rent again.

Great get away
The house was a great find. The large screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. The house is just one block from downtown Saluda, which was a lovely small town with good restaurants, nice people and several nice shops. The location also provided a great starting point for trips for whitewater rafting, sightseeing or shopping. The property owner was pleasant, prompt and a joy to work with. We would definitely stay again.
