Petite maison avec juste 3-4 chambres. On a l'impression d'être accueilli chez l'habitant, avec les chiens dans le salon et la table à partager au petit déjeuner. Parking possible devant la maison ou dans la rue. Le centre du village est accessible à pied.

Excellent location with very comfortable common areas and friendly staff.
The rooms (especially the bathroom) are quite small and air conditioning in the hot summer is marginal.

The bed was comfortable and linens were good.
This property was GROSSLY over priced! The owner, Tim was extremely RUDE and unprofessional.
Killed a bug in the hall when we went upstairs and one in our bathroom. Just putting nice linens on a bed does not
make the facility a Bed & Breakfast. No Class in this place at all!

Tim and Martha were great hosts. Full of knowledge for hiking around Acadia and the best spots to eat in Bar Harbor!

The B&B was very nice, located walking distance from the town and the sandbar. The hosts were very friendly and provided excellent information about what hikes etc. to take in Acadia National Park and where to eat dinner. They loaned us a book about hikes for the day.
I expected more choice for breakfast-the hostess only made one dish and didn't ask us beforehand if it was something we would eat. The first morning it was not to our taste, but the second it was.

Amazing hosts, gave us lots of tips for hiking. Tasty homemade breakfast. Room clean and cozy, loved the decoration.

Martha + Tim were so welcoming and gave great recommendations of the local area. Homemade breakfast each morning was a real treat. Echo and Hammy, were the best door greeters, and were quiet lovable pups.
Rooms are not well insulated and sounds travels easily. At times I could hear my neighbors in the room next door or those talking downstairs. Everyone was conscientious though and it didn't bother me.

super close to the Main Street but very quiet around.
it’s a wood house, so everything sounds. You feel the need to be super careful when waking out of respect for other guests. But that is actually what makes you feel at home.

I really enjoy dogs being allowed at the property, but I did not bring a dog & I thought having our room and bedding smell like dogs was a bit overwhelming..

very clean, Tim and Martha are excellent hosts!! Breakfast was phenomenal every morning, they even leave baked fresh goodies for snacking. Their dogs are so cute and they are a pet friendly b&b!’ Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area, would definitely stay again!!!!!!!!!

Martha was an incredible host and her breakfast creations were deliciuosly! If you are looking for familiar stay in Bar Harbor, the Canterbury Cottage is the place to be.

Absolutely loved the location - very central to Bar Harbor downtown. Additionally, the property, our room, and its decor were lovely. We were fascinated by how well Camalyne maintained the property and ensured her guests have a comfortable stay. Check-in was hassle-free - much simpler than hotel rooms in fact. The wifi worked well and the bed was super-comfortable. Our host also served us an excellent, sumptuous breakfast the next day. Overall - we highly recommend this place for your stay! I wish we booked another night.

Lovely old home in great location. Breakfast was scrumptious. Little bit cramped for us but it had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again.
