Very roomy to accommodate a family of 10. Very Clean, well supplied kitchen, great patio, nice pool, very close to beach! Only problem, not a great view of the beach…dunes in the way of the view…still a wonderful property!

We had 9 people with us and this place was perfect! The condo was so nice and spacious and was stocked very well, especially with kitchen supplies. They didn’t have pot holders/oven mitts which I thought was strange since they had so much else but other than that we had no complaints on the condo. They also had tons of kids beach toys and some chairs for you to use during your stay which I also thought was super nice. There where no bugs whatsoever and everything was clean.I will say I wish they gave instructions on what to do if you arrive after 4:30 when the office is closed and you can’t get parking passes or arm bands. And we had a pest control guys come in and spray during our stay so I would have like to have known it was scheduled during our stay. Oh and last thing, the internet was not very good but who comes on vacation for internet anyways lol. Overall though it’s a super nice place to stay with a nice pool and easy access to the beach. I would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful place to stay for an adult group. The HOA President and residents were all great. Some of the residents even joined us for music and cookout!! We left extra cleaning supplies and TP for the next guests. Hope they also pay it forward 😀

The inside of the condo is nice; however, the king sized beds need to be replaced as they are warped and you will roll to the middle of the beds when sleeping. The pool and outside area are very small, so definitely do not rent if you want a nice pool area. You are, however, directly on the beach - next to the empty Club La Vela - so there is plenty of beach space. The "security guard/manager" was extremely rude, especially towards our children and family. We walked on egg shells the entire time so we didn't disrupt the retirement community like atmosphere. It is definitely not a family friendly place, as we were asked not to be loud, splash, play, etc. There were no other children, teenagers, or people under 50. If this applies to you, then this is the perfect retirement condo for you! We will not, however, ever rent from this complex again. For the steep price, find somewhere more friendly.

Unit has been renovated, spacious and decor is cute. The unit was great size for our multi generational group. We enjoyed to close proximity to pool and beach and covered porch area. Unit had everything you needed in the kitchen and baths including crockpots and an instapot. We didn’t use either but I would have liked to know that before packing ours from home. Vacuum didn’t work and being a 1st floor unit we needed the vacuum with sand. Minor inconveniences were - Dryer wasn’t working/heating properly (took hours to dry a load) and one of the king beds needed maintenance because the middle supports were bent and caused you to roll toward center. Internet service on Smart TV wasn’t working in master bedroom but they were able to watch regular TV. The code for the door quit working day prior to our departure. Rental agency set up new code and it worked for few hours then quit working again. We were leaving next day so we managed with someone being in the unit to answer the door. Overall, we enjoyed the unit and would stay again if minor issues were fixed.

With small kids this was super easy access to the beach each day! Lots of room to spread out yet enjoy being together. Would stay here again!

Excellent condo just needs a shower head repair in bathroom #3. If tub baths are your thing, then it won’t matter. I love this location and all the room in this condo! I will rent again.

Very clean condo and wonderful staff. Easy check in and loading/unloading zone. I was worried because my father is on a walker and was concerned about him walking long distance from the parking lot. He was able to pull close to the office and only had to walk a short distance to our condo. Loved the nightly security that was present. Definitely recommend this condo. Plenty of room for our family. Had a party of 11.

Great location and we will definitely stay here again!

This condo was large with plenty of sleeping spaces and three bathrooms. It was a very short walk to the beach access and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The pool was nice too and we could walk straight out there from our patio because we were on the ground floor. No waiting on elevators either! Kitchen was well stocked and even had a separate ice machine, TV’s in every room, even the small bunk room. Great location in Panama City Beach with a close Walmart and pharmacies, restaurants, etc. Ice cream store almost right on the property was awesome! My only negative comments would be that the building needed some upgrading on the outside (but inside the condo was lovely) and they are a little over the top about you wearing your wristbands, but I know they are trying to do this to keep things secure. Would come back again.

Location of the property is in a awesome place. Easy access to the beach. However the problem that i had 2-3 weeks before my reservation i tried to get ahold of the property manager and never got back with me on parking passes and our code to get in when we arrived. Got there on mother's day weekend and no one was in the office at the property cause of covid reasons. Long story short the owners ghosted me after they got there money. Still to this day. I have haven't heard anything from them. If it wasn't for the maintenance personnel at the property i probably wouldn't not of be able to get into my condo. My property owners just sucked in my opinion.

The unit is perfectly placed to the community pool and to the walkway to the beach. All hard surface floors are a plus! Upon arrival we had not received the code for the lock on our unit. The security guard at the Moondrifter was very accommodating with helping us to get into the unit. He made phone calls for us and we did get the code the next morning. We also had a small problem with ants in the master bedroom. The maintenance department was there immediately to take care of this problem for us. I would suggest for the cleaning crew to leave more than two garbage bags for a week stay. Also, dishwashing liquid would also be a nice perk. If your family is staying for more than a few days, I would suggest to take paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap and all condiments for your stay. The community grills do need to be cleaned. I do not recommend using them! The pool is wonderful! The location of the condo is wonderful to all restaurants and shopping! I would stay in this unit again.

This property was perfect for my family group of 9. We didn’t feel on top of each other at all. Beach access was easy and never had trouble finding a spot for our tents (never crowded). We had a great time and I would definitely use moon drifter again!

This condo was fantastic! It was just as nice as the listing stated. We stayed for 4 nights (Thu-Mon) with our families. We were married on the beach behind the building. There was adequate sleeping accommodations for everyone and hanging out on the patio in the evenings was great! The only complaint we had... the room/area off the living room with the twin bunk beds has no ac vent and is warm at night. I wish we had a fan to circulate air into the space.

A group of old high school friends used the unit. It was extremely roomy and clean. Would recommend to anyone!

The rental process was easy but you couldn’t seem to get ahold of anyone easily during the process. The property could use updates and the beds were absolutely terrible. Would definitely stay at the property again as long as new beds were bought. The pictures were exactly like shown in the picture and condo was very spacious.

We chose this property mainly because of its accessibility for my Dad. The accommodations were very good. We did need to purchase a toilet riser for the bathroom due to our personal needs. It was mostly very clean upon arrival, except we needed to clean the floors because of a baby in our group. If we did not have a baby, it would not have been a big deal. We loved the pirate theme throughout and thought it looked very nice once inside. It had updated appliances and a very nice washer and dryer. Bring your own beach towels—the beach and pool were completely accessible to get to. The mattresses needed to be changed but loved the place!!
