We would thouroughly reccommend staying at the stable cottage. Great location, beautiful accommodation, surrounds, and with lovely hospitality.

We went down to celebrate a milestone anniversary and we hoped for a place to rest and relax together. Peter and Vicki were the perfect hosts. We had all the information and support necessary while being given the absolute maximum amount of privacy. Peter was more than willing to help, have a chat and give us information about anything. The property is lovely, well equipped and overlooking paddocks, grazing cows and chirping birds. The pool is the perfect way to cool off when it gets hot. And we were welcomed with come of Vicki’s gluten free brownies that are to die for. Thank you Peter and Vicki. We highly recommend this property and its owners.

Vicki and her husband went out of their way to get the pool set up when my kids requested to use the pool despite it being October and pretty cold. The chocolate shop was a real treat. A great place to stay - would love to go back sometime!

Neatly presented rammed earth cottage. Lovely hosts!! Plenty of firewood supplied to keep the fire going day & night. The kids enjoyed visiting the chocolate shop, at the property entry. Having the cafe on site was also excellent. We enjoyed hang-out in the loft & taking in the views across the valley

This property and accommodation is magnificent, the pictures really do not do it justice. Much bigger than it looks. Clean and tidy, super comfy beds and that fireplace just warms the whole place. Would recommend and definately stay again!

The house is spacious and homely with two living areas. The wood fire in the kitchen/dining area with a well stocked wood box is excellent. Vicki was welcoming and delightful and provided us with a guided tour of the house. She also supplied additional milk and extra fire lighters just in case we needed them. The chocolate shop in front of the accommodation was a real treat.

What a fantastic property and incredible hosts to spend a week. The accommodation was beyond our expectations! Was the perfect family holiday with hosts that where more than willing to accommodate. Great accomodation which oozed character. Setting is so beautiful and there is absolutely everything you need. The owners Vicki and Peter are delightful and very welcoming. The chocolate emporium at the front of the property is a must to visit. We highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and neat. Well equipped and friendly reception. We would've loved a walk on the property but I'm not sure if this is allowed and to be honest we didn't get time to ask. Kids loved the swimming pool, very thankful entertainment for them. I would recommend taking DVDs as I forgot, with poor phone reception and not being able to watch TV. Day two we bought some uno cards that worked a treat. Would've been a bonus if there were games left for the kids, but more just mentioning to take some for the kids. Bedding was all clean and tidy. Enough blankets left. Middle double bed was very soft to our liking but nothing major, just a mention. We loved our stay, the kids loved buying chocolates and we would definitely return if possible.

Really lovely owners, great communication and made us feel very welcomed. Chocolate and coffee shop at the front of the property is amazing! Very quiet and peaceful, would recommend to family and friends.

Myself and three friends stayed here for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. Vicky and Peter were very gracious hosts and provided an excellent holiday getaway. The house itself was warm, well-equipped and spacious with a tremendous view out back. Additionally the surrounding areas of Balingup (about 8mins away) and Donnybrook (about 20mins away) were beautiful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this stay.

Lovely property that's been cleverly positioned to offer peace and privacy even though it's near the highway and main house. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Lots of nice touches like wine, strawberries and chocolate. The pool was perfectly maintained and very welcome on a warm day. Nice neighbours too... donkeys, ponies and highland cows! Happy to recommend and we'll be back.

Myself and two friends recently stayed at The Stables for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised with the spacious and well equipped cottage as well as its location and proximity to Donnybrook . Our very friendly hosts welcomed us with freshly baked bread and a bottle of wine and were most helpful with information about the area and local places to visit. The cottage is well appointed and extremely comfortable with attention focused on providing a relaxed and homely feel. The private and fenced pool was a particular highlight and was the perfect place to take in the local bird life. I would highly recommend The Stables and very much look forward to our next visit.

Thank you to Vicki and Peter for their wonderful hospitality. The warm bread and brownies during our stay were such a warm gesture and quickly devoured. The house was clean and had everything for a 'home away from home'. The pool was a reprieve from the heat during our stay. Thank you both and we hope to see you again one day!
